Use the leftover wood from the toilet paper holder as a picture frame. It would look great for vintage pictures of flowers or birds just about anything you want. With some brackets, you could make a hanger from the spindle to display it on your wall. 👍🤗

My grandparents had the set of Samsonite that the train case was part of. I had Samsonite from the 60's that I recently sold too. Funny how things come back around! I love the lamp from the glass vase. I have a big round glass fish net weight that's full of sea water. It's the same color as the glass you found. I think it's from a certain era. My dad found that fish net weight on a beach in Brazil in the 60's....he was working there and that was in the days when they allowed you to bring things back to the US from foreign countries...no questions asked! I love the galvanized canisters and my favorite thing you made with them is the lantern. It's so charming and so pretty! Really great thrift finds today!

I have my mother’s luggage from the same time period. Ours is in a lighter color and not quite as pristine but still much loved. Mom referred to the smaller case as a “train case”. I use it as a portable office when I go to craft events and it’s like having her with me. Congrats on your find and I love the flips.

This made me realize it's been a long time since I've been home. I never knew there was a Goodwill in Fairview. Then I remembered working in the food court in St Clair Square when I was in high school, and even though I was making minimum wage, god I was so much less stressed back then. Love your DIY’s Shannon. That was a lucky find with the Samsonite Case! For the hearts and holder from the toilet roll unit, maybe use the hearts to make photo frames for photos of your Kids, you & your Husband, and your FurBaby. I've been meaning to stop at Goodwill, so now I absolutely have to! It was a very hard choice to pick a favorite, so I picked my top 3: #3-cannister lid candle holder #2- cannister watering can #1-the lamp with the rechargeable light bulb! My Aunt had one of those Samsonite train cases many decades ago. Your find is in pristine condition. Gorgeous! I think the leftover wood with the heart cutouts could be used for picture frame/frames. Great video! 💐

That’s a train case-we used to call them Choo-Choo bags! The plastic divider was most likely added later-a lucky find that fit-as these bags were made before plastic arrived on the scene. What a FIND!! Lucky you!! Enjoyed the video!❤

Wow, I love all of these DIYs! Its fascinating to see how other people can SEE things from a completely different perspective - it wouldn't have dawned on me to turn that tp holder on its side and into a planter - brilliant!! I really did love just about every one of these! I am looking forward to seeing what you might do with that piece with the 3 hearts. My first thought was maybe gluing some cans or small pots or even boxes to the back and putting in some moss and a peg under each heart, then hanging it vertically outside from a tree as a birds nest condo complex with heart-shaped entrances. You might get some renters!

As an inside piece, you could hot glue fake birds, maybe 1 in the entrance and a couple sitting on the pegs with a few tiny eggs inside. That would be darling!

They all turned out adorable!❤ I definitely LOVE the lamp you made!!!😍 Those portable light bulb are trending right now too. I’ve seen quite a few creators using them and I love it!🥰👏🏼💞 TFS my friend!!❤ EDITED: maybe cut those hearts out individually into squares and use it as a front to a birdhouse? Maybe you could use the pole as part of the base for the birdhouse ( a riser look) or a planter with the same concept with succulents and having some of the long beaded succulents coming out of it. An open faced planter.😁 Use the heart for the front and if you cut it down enough, you would still have enough lip to put dirt or you could use fake succulents. So you would have an open top and three solid sides, and then the heart in the front with succulents coming off the front as well. I hope I making sense lol.😂

Beautiful transformation with the 🌺 use the stick by itself to add toilet paper paint it up to your liking and slide those paper on! I love those vintage box 📦 your goodwill is a deal mine up here think their some kind of high end store and prices are way too high and I donate all the time to them. Love your videos! It's hard to pick one DIY. That Samsonite is super nice too. I think my fav is the tin you cut the star shape into, but for creativity, I give an A+ on the candle holder and lid you put together. I never would have thought of doing such a thing! Keep up the great work!
