I'm so glad this video was suggested to me. I have an old Wagner that I never used, & I pulled it out this week for a project. Thank you for sharing the tips. I feel more confident to use it.
I LOVED the texture of the lamp after the FIRST coat of putty..and kinda liked it exactly like that with it being white and textured. Had a very modern boho feel.
Interesting and different. May I suggest in the future to use either a silicone adhesive or special glass/mirror glue. Your wood glue will eventually come loose and people will get ticked off. As you probably guessed, the benefit of a spray gun is that they use less paint while getting tons better coverage. Fix on!
I thoroughly enjoyed your thrift store flips. The mirror is definitely my favorite, but you did a wonderful job on all the other things as well. I've seen watching you for some time and truly enjoy your work. I will be 75 this month and wished I was able to do all those things you do. You are so talented.
Fun to see your accessory game. I once had a great lamp that had a Crack in the pottery. I liked the size and style of lamp so I coated it with Elmer's glue and tissue paper and then spray painted it. Everyone visiting home thought it looked great. Thanks, Jackie
Wow I'm glad I found you, very helpful & inspiring! I love how you don't chit chat or go into what you think about people places ect... straight to the point. I will watch yr entire videos😉
Christina, you are an artist and a genius! Some of your ideas are out of this world! Thank you for your ideas and inspiration. Needless to say, I have subscribed. God bless
I'm looking around at the flipping market and thinking about trying to start this up for some extra money, so thanks for the vidjayo. As a DIYer I have a suggestion though. Watching you use your sweet painting setup, it would be a good idea to go find yourself a lazy suzen or similar spinning table. It keeps the fingers off the paint projects and lets you rotate it to cover the whole object. Just thought I'd kick that out there after watching the painting on your vases. Thanks again for sharing your the knowledge.
Love the way you think outside of the box and see potential in things people throw away only to buy more new things. Noticed you are always clean and paint free. Any secrets you might want to share? Continue to stay creative and keep posting.
It seems like you were burning out a little on the furniture flips. I’m glad you are doing different things to keep yourself inspired. I love this video.
Christina you nailed the mirror. It’s beautiful! The lamp and vases turned out fantastic! I can’t believe you painted over the beautiful art work, jk… they are definitely better than before. You updated everything at a tiny fraction of the cost of new and I’m really into that. The Wagner sprayer worked perfect for all these projects and I was impressed with the simplicity of folding up the spray tent for storage when you were done. Thank you for showing us more great products and projects! Fantastic job! 😃
