For my wedding, we used mismatched crystal vases and glasses from thrift stores for all the centerpieces. It was so beautiful. My grandmother was married just before WWII. At her reception everyone attending brought flowers in their own vases from home. Everything was mismatched and lovely. We tried to recreate this.❤
I love how you all disagree about something, and then you make up about it. And it agree that you both were wrong. That's so nice that's the way the lord wants us to do things in a loving way
I just love watching these thrifting videos 😂 ❤sooo much! So.. the haul is so good I can't believe you always find such great things! And the Waterford Crystal is amazing to uncover in your barn! Wow!! My love of birds & plants makes that little bird planter a favorite..so cute!! Oh, and the 2 china plates too!
Hi y’all, I love thrifting with you💕 Quick story about cleaning out my garage/carport. I’m in process of getting my 250 yr old house with new electrical, walk in shower and making everything easily accessible for my old age. I’m 75 already. I had bins I didn’t remember contents. My 34 yr old son was putting trash on his flatbed trailer but would check with me first. After several items I insisted on keeping he got where he’d hold up an item, look at it and then say”I guess Zeb and Jami would thrift this so it stays”. He’s learning😁😁😁 Thanks so much for making my days more special.💕💕💕
So this was a good haul ... it's all just sitting on the shelves waiting for a little clever to show up & see the potential ! Be still my heart !!... Waterford sitting in a box in the garage .... breathe girl - breathe !! ( mountain shout out ...& tiny gnomes 😂)
I know. Exact reasons I need to work through the barn stash. I have treasures I need to get posted. I have to remind myself I can’t make money when stuff is collecting dust ❤️
The Display Ladder would also be Great for vegetables in a Mud room off your Kitchen. Put rectangle short baskets on the shelf for the Veggies or Fruit...
I love watching you guys thrift. It’s like getting to go shopping on my lunch break but I still cannot get over the prices of things in the DI. I have a pop-up shop once a month and I’m Thrifting all the time in my area. Nothing is in the thrift store under, $2 anymore. I’ve never seen anything $.50 or $1 in my area. Most items are $3-$9.99
Not sure if you missed the Indiana clear glass candy dish with tear drops. I regretted not purchasing one at goodwill for $8.00 . I then went searching for one and found one at an antique store for $10.00😊
I collect white embossed china and mix and match it, so that first Homer Laughlin plate has my name on it! You usually pick up colorful china, so I was excited to see this piece. This haul had some great stuff in it!
What’s with you two and the Easels? I’m an artist and I never find anything close to the three you got. Sooo lucky! Jayme you look so pretty today, like your cheeks are glowing. Another successful Monday that I’m happy to be part of. See you Thursday. ❤
Hilarious! "How many screwdrivers and (electric tools) do you have?" My frequent retort when my husband asks, "how many [crafting supplies] do you need?"😅 Just love thrifing with you both!
You guys inspired me? I want a table with the thick top and the thick spindle legs and you were talking about it in the thrift store to take it, make it down or do something with it, I'm just gonna look for a big table and cut it down and make it the size. I want it to be use the top button. Cut it down, cut the part down. Where I'm put the legs on the base and make a smaller base and make my own table. There are like $807 for the size that I want. I need it to be like maybe no bigger than a 40 / 50 size tabletop. And they won a fortune for them. I have no chairs. Already can't wait to do it you guys inspired me
I live in an area in Iowa where the Goodwills are owned by some lady that goes through the boxes and takes all the good stuff for her antique store where she jacks up the prices. This is before her employees are allowed to put the things on the shelf. What's left for us to buy is things you would find at a very bad garage sale. Junk. But I have very fond memories of going to the Goodwill with my Mom as a young girl up to my adult years. It was a lot of fun. I do not know how this lady is able to keep the Goodwill name on her stores. It is no fun going to the Goodwill in my area, so I do not go.
You guys should check out a fellow RU-vidr, Matthew Peech for his Ultimate Garage Mobil Storage idea/plans. My husband has started making these units for me for all my thrifted, craft supplies and vendor booth items. (Wheels from Harbor Freight work well) Now I’ll be able to find everything so much easier. PS: Costco has the assorted bins at awesome prices.
