I was sitting here over in Australia with no energy…but your enthusiasm and happiness from these awesome finds somehow seeped through my TV and zapped me to life! 😂
My mom made me a Cabbage Patch Doll, and I still have it. I collect old miniature dolls. I love Monday Thrift Store videos the best. I’m still unpacking boxes from my recent move. I’m going to have a whopper yard sale, with the many items I don’t need at my new house.
The gold stand was a magazine rack sold by Home Interiors Gift/home party in “70” I was a distributor and it was one of my best sellers. Just saw one on eBay for $48.00. Y’all really had a great haul!!
Man, y’all made a good haul! So many things I recognized too. The cabbage Patch doll I had one as a little girl,The teapot with the cow and the barn I had for my daughter when she was a couple years old and also the doll with the hair that grows I played with as a little girl at my babysitter‘s house in the 90s. Brought back some good old memories.
Oh my goodness what great stuff! I saw like 10 things I want but if I don’t get that doll on Saturday night I will cry for sure. It brings back so many memories and her dress is made of the same material that I made my daughter’s baby blanket and crib sheets and bumper pad with! Another fun Monday with you two! Thank you!!!❤
You got a lot of nice dishes and the silverware is pretty! A couple years ago I found a set of heavy real silverware for $.29 each and my daughter got $400 for it! Score! Did you know that the original Cabbage Patch dolls were made from fabric? I remember wanting to get one for my daughter so badly, but we couldn’t afford it.
Thank you for always saying "Hit that LIKE button" because I get so into the video that I forget until you say it 😂 so when you do say it....I'm like "Ooooh yeah, hit that LIKE button!" Y'all found lots of fantastic goodies today!!!! Way to go!!! I can't wait to see what y'all do with everything y'all found today!!!
*Zeb, the gold stand that was upside down above the clothes rack is a music 🎶🎵 🎶 stand to hold sheet music. 😊 WOW, what a magnificently HUGE HAUL TODAY‼️🙉😁 Jami,* *I L🤍VE that 9 Pane Window 🪟 so much...I don't see 9 Pane Windows here in Minnesota very often. Enjoyed your "Junkin' dance" too, Jami❣️😉💃 That basket-woven crocheted afghan in the pastel colors is awesome‼️🙉🙊😍 It looked as though different colors of yarn were crocheted into strips and then the strips were woven together like a basket weave and finally the edges were crocheted together to make the strips into a whole blanket. How UNIQUE❣️👍🏼*
Love watching you Spend spend at the thrit stores. Great finds. Beautiful afghans. You got me looking at them and picking up. Happy Birthday to Eliza !! Hope she enjoyed her ❤🎉 crepes!!❤🎉❤🎉
No mountains but Eliza's bd makes up for that ! Loved the pie crust afghan-- lots of work put into that ... I'm thinking the Gobel / Hummel piece is rare / valuable... It'll be a fast talking Saturday night ! lol😏
The flower bowl you passed up is the pattern I collect. It is never marked as it was given away in flour sacks. From the 1940's. I also have the same little iron heavy magazine rack. ❤
Those wicker pointy planters are fabulous! You got such a great deal on them. And the “Garden at Giverny”is the first print that my husband bought me when we got together. it hangs in our guestroom and I love it!
I have an entire collection of the Franciscan and it’s oven safe! It’s out of print now but only for about 10-20 years and the pattern was produced for like 100 years. It’s highly collectible and sells well for decent profit
Haven't watched your videos for awhile. I subscribe to too many so not all show in my feed. I need to binge watch to catch up! I need inspiration for my first vendor fair this year in May! I mostly sew. So Im still learning how to flip other things! We had that spring rain all through southwest. Im in high desert SoCal. We dont mind it. It also snowed in Sierras. Need that melting snow for water and not go into drought for fires! I love the vintage ties! My main hobby is sewing. On a machine at 5 making paper stamps. That was my mother's used treadle. When I asked my small town for mask materials I got a lot of good quilting scraps but also odd things. A bag of about 200 ties! I make messenger bags from jeans so did the same and made mini cell phone bags from the ties. A man said if you put a belt loop on the bag of those Id buy one! So started doing that too. Made the strrap to come off but also cross body length but draws up to a half circle shoulder strap. I had some too narrow so made snakes from them! They went fast. Need to make more!
So hlas you got the Cabbage Patch doll. She is so adorable! Love the colorful flower garden print you got. Can't wait to see what color you paint the frame.
Fun and productive haul! I was thinking those wicker baskets would make terrific hanging lights for kitchen or bath with the plastic removed. Of course the "innards" would have to be added - sorry my thoughts were running wild!!!!
Jami, I loved seeing you dance!😂 It’s funny you brought up the Backstreet Boys because years ago AJ sat down next to me at a slot machine in Vegas!😍😂😜 he had his security guards around him. I had the biggest crush on him too with all his tattoos.😜 I guess we all had a thing back in the day!😂🤷🏻♀️
I love to crochet. Every baby shower I went to iwould go between crocheting a baby afigan or making baby quilts. I now wish I had kept up on exactly how many of each I had made. My real point is how many times I had to rewind the video just to get a good screen shot of the basket weave style afigan Zeb found. I could easily make that design. Thar is the first of that style that I have ever seen❤ I am curious to an approximate measurement of the afigan. That was such a great haul today
I really need the Franciscan Earthenware Desert Rose Plates you found. That was my mother's china and now I have it. I probably have around 200 pieces but I'm always looking to add more.
