@@communistloser3182 Okay, thanks for the info, but that doesn't change the fact that i feel bad for the brakes even if they aren't super loud , and still racing brakes do wear out extremely fast. I just reacted by saying that those are the brakes that you can hear. not that it makes a loud noise bcs it has bad brakes or something.
also they're not "meant" to be loud. in the world of performance cars it becomes a secondary issue. also racing brakes have more surface area which creates more friction and vibration. and since we the noise coming from the brakes is not an issue anymore. they will be loud
@@jonnynum9367 i've asked many and i've been told it were the brakes i even asked some people at a nearby garage if youcan explain how the sound is made by the suquentail transmission then i'll reconsider my thought.
@@beetlelaaf2228 Since this transmission has straight cut gears, it makes a whine. Heres a link of the sound of a straight cut gear sequential: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dmJH84FnQa8.html
Great footage Bozzy! This was the day I was most likely going to go 😭 Thanks for your best bits and I gotta say the new 911, R8 GT2 and MP4/4 were the stand outs along with the 917's of course
Mercedes W08 “I don’t sound that bad” Ferrari V10 “hold my pint” Really shows what we’ve lost in terms of the sound of F1 with the V6 hybrids. Great collection of awesome sound cars, thanks for the vid 👍
As impressive as the VW ID.R is from a technical point of view, this video gives me enough reasons why I am not very high on e-racers. Call me old fashioned but that's the way I'm build.
I believe its to do with current F1 Concorde Agreements, which spans from 2009 to 2020. Therefore you always see these cars with the most up to date liviries, and not the older ones.
I wonder why, if somewhere f1 cars are shown, its always older models before turbo kicked in. And I also wonder why f1 doesnt realize that those new turbo cars sound like $hit
@@markmark5269 the V10 F1 cars were much louder and much more distinctive than the V8 era. The screaming V10s can cut through any other engine note like they're not even there.
I have been to 16 GPs, from 1.5 turbo and 3.0 DFV, 3.5 V10 to 2.4 V8 - I couldn't give a fuck for them. Any of them. I even think the Benz Safety Car sounds better than the F1 cars, and include the Sauber Benz sports car as one of the best sounding cars in history, beside the late CanAm cars. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-am68lQsoNaI.html. .
