I have a set of these on my 2021 Sasquatch Wildtrak Bronco 4 door. They are excellent in snow and ice. I like them so much I just ordered a set of 18” for my 2016 F-350.
Goodyear promotes these as "Maximum Traction" tire. Drove them on a new 2dr bronco and they are actually quite nice. Wish there were more size options. They do not seem loud or rough riding at all.
I’ve driven these on on 2021 Bronco. They do great on the hwy. Not loud and are stable. Totally happy off road as well. Waiting to see how many miles I can get out of them.
I understand that these are neither the best nor the sturdiest off-road tires. But I still plan on getting them (in size 285/70R17) for my Bronco simply because they are very light for LT tires. (I live in inner-city Chicago, and go off-road on mostly muddy terrain around twice a month so the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MTs ought to suffice. But if you go off-road more often or in rocky terrain, you might want to consider sturdier off-road tires).
Have them on my 23 bronco. They have been great in snow, however, this is my first 4x4 vehicle so i dont a comparison to others. I can say i grew up in Buffalo and have experience in the snow in fwd cars. On the negative side is longevity, i have under 10k on these and i doubt ill get to 2k without having to replace them. This is also the consensus within the bronco community it seems, ive been advised of this from our local brnco club in Colorado; im starting to see their point as im down to 12/32nds last time i rotated mine.
These came on my chevy trail boss and seem to be good tires. I pull a camper around the country, cattle trailers, haul hay etc and work it. I dunno bout any winter ratings but they did very well through drifts and multiple road conditions
I’m going to wait too recommend because I dunno what the end mileage on them is but so far on my 2021 mentioned they are great and I’ll probably go back with them when I do replace based on performance so far. I’ve not aired down below 20 yet either cause I don’t trust without bead lockers lower than that.
I'll keep an eye on reviews. I've got Razr MTs on a raptor with real bead locks that did great from Mojave to Moab and South Padre to north Minnesota.. the MT/AT hybrids are a good way to go but these territory look like a more AT hybrid as compared to a more leaning MT hybrid.
The Broncos and trx have the MT on it. The new 2022 Tacoma’s have the AT on them. I think these look great but my 285-70-17 33 inch Falken wildpeaks on my 4runner have been SOOO good to me especially here in maryland with 4 seasons and brutal winters and a lot of rainfall throughout the year.
I like the goodyear tires but I am going to stay with my toyo tires cause from the swamps of South GA to up here in the northwest Washington I have never had a issue with these
Coworker is lookin at a set of these bad mama jamas to replace his duratracs and got me thinking aboot em. They seem like the real deal for best of both worlds performance and honestly think i might buy a set
These came factory on my new trail boss. My main complaint as of yet, is the rim protection is zero. The rim actually protrudes from the side of the tire.
Do you guys know how much the 315/70/17 weighs? I can’t find that spec on Goodyear. Trying to keep my broncos replacement tires close to factory weight.
M/T on that tire stands for Muti-Terrain not Mud-Terrain. Some simple research would have not made this video be a comparison to Mud Terrains. Its just renamed All Terrain tire.
The biggest downgrade I did to my jeep was put Goodyear wrangler tires on it. I bought the vehicle used and the coopers that came on it had thicker sidewalls, rim protection, and more aggressive tread, but when I got the Goodyears I thought I was getting a premium tire, but they have thin sidewalls, don't go good in the snow, and no rim protection. No more Goodyears for me
@@Wark_91L Exactly, which Goodyear. I've run Duratracks in snow, a lot of snow. I mean a lot of snow and they are AWESOME!! Also excellent sidewall protection. I've beat the heck out of 3 sets of them, even pulled backhoes, tractors, and bailwagons. The Dura is a great tire.
I’ve 9k miles on my TRX and these tires are noisy. For comparison, I’ve 40k miles on 37” BFG KO2s on my Jeep Gladiator, with many, many serious off-road excursions, and they a much quieter. Safe to say I will be replacing the GY with BFGs.
Looks like an awesome tire...."looks" like. I know they are new but wonder if there is any info on testing in snow and rain? I am in Minnesota so I definitely need a 3 peak snow-rated tire. I most likely will stick with my Falken AT3W but maybe go up a size on my 80 series Land Cruiser. P.S. I sub'd ;-)
Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S is snowflake rated. They grip well, wear well... and are value priced. Kenda Klever is snow rated, but missed the snowflake cuz of wide sizes not meeting requirements.
The 3 peak designation means absolutely nothing. My old BFG KO's with no 3 peak work much better than the falcon wildpeaks I bought specifically because they have the 3 peak rating. They also wore out in less than half the amount of miles my BFG'S did....
They are not good MUD TIRES……M/T stands for maximum traction…..they actually suck ass in the MUD……but they are pretty awesome on-road so far…can’t wait to get them in the packed dirt this summer.
i'll never purposefully buy goodyears.my last truck had dura tracs when i first got it. the dealer refused to swap them.they lasted a total of 4 days.i tore a hole so big driving a dirt road that 4 plugs still couldn't fix,and i swapped them out for ridge grapplers.my new trucks dura tracs are relegated to emergency spares and i put my old grabbers on instead.the tires are brand new and 1 has a strip of balance weights a foot long on it,from the factory.i wish power wagons came with nittos or toyos.
4 days... I've run them for at least 15 years. Beat the crap out of them, have a farm, live in the west, Sister lives in Moab but I'm up where the snowmobiling season ended 3 weeks ago. Lots of rocks, mountains, snow, ice, sand, hauling backhoes, John Deere Field Tractors, etc... Never had a problem. Never. You had a one-off experience and should reconsider.
I’m not digging the tread design. Looks more like an AT. Far too much surface area for mud to grip. . The off rodeo was literally a cherry picked event by Ford, so no doubt the vehicle performed extremely well since that was their goal. To impress you.
You do realize that there are 4 different locations for the Off-Rodeo? Texas, Vegas, Moab and New Hampshire. They all have very different terrains. Look them up and you will see what i'm talking about. Also the stock Bronco has performed extremely well in places like the King of Hammers, Rubicon and the trails of Colorado. You can lookup some of the videos.
I'll pass. Never had good experience with the few different Goodyear tires I've tried. I can say their high performance car tires were way better than their truck offroad/all terrain tires.
These tires are absolute garbage. Im getting so tired of influencers getting free stuff and saying only positive things. This tire was trashed in just 14 miles off road in AZ.
These things grab every rock they can off the dirt roads and continue to throw them for miles down the road. Sounds like the worst song you ever heard.
I have been running Duratracs forever and love them. I need tires this year, but I am looking elsewhere due to some questionable statements from them this last year. Can you elaborate what is up in KS?
Thats just not true. Ive got 50k miles with over 5k miles on dirt on my General Grabbers atx that came on my Ranger Tremor. Been to Moab and done Hells Revenge and a ton of BLM off roading and never had an issue. There are guys running king of the hammer on C tires. From my experience the on road benifits are worth having 6 ply to a 10 since I have never had a off road problem with a 6 ply.
@@jeremyforresttalley145 ok I could be wrong on the load range c thing but the Goodyear Territory tires that came on my Bronco are not great tires in so many ways it is a joke how much they want for them.
@@PGXPPR that I dont know about that but will be finding out I ordered some today. A lot of good reviews and the ones I ordered are not the bronco pattern it is more of the duratrac tread pattern. I only paid $200 a tire so compaired to any other "name" brand they are a great price IMO. I love my General Grabber ATXs but they are wanting over $300 a tire.
