Congratulatons!!! Very exciting!! Do you know which one you want yet? I can give you special discounts on GloFX and Fiberflies if you go that route as well! :) When it comes to grease... it helps lubricate the fibers, keeps them hydrated and prevents them from becoming brittle too quickly and reduces catching. However clothing that puts a barrier between your skin and the whip is the only super effective method for that. Mesh material, fishnets, stockings, and cotton are what I have found to be the most breathable materials for hot festival flow. Any silicone personal lubricant works like grease. I use GloFX flow grease because it stays on the longest and doesn’t get sticky. Swiss Navy is also a good brand and Fiberflies uses it on their whip right out the box. GloFX doesn’t come pre lubed, Fiberflies does but either way you are going to want lube to make the fiber last. Fair warning! If this is your first whip.... be aware you may go through your first fiber head really quick and that is normal! I destroyed mine in 3 days! But in time, you start to find the balance of how to grip and toss your whip so its not as damaging to the fiber head. I have a whole online course that gets you introduced to fiber wielding without worries of knocking yourself out. :) Which I had also done.... :/ lol!
