The best part is he thinks they’re such esoteric and undiscovered tracks. I’m in my 20s and hate that genre of music yet even I know those songs lmao he literally fucking worked in a record store and in radio yet doesn’t like anything that’s not from huge mainstream artists off their peak years. Howard likes lame music too but at least I can say he was willing to venture out and listen to new things and get behind groups even if nobody else liked them.
For all the goofing on Gary he is probably the most normal one out of the whole show. Probably has the best marriage looks like he did a nice job raising his kids. He did all right for himself.

If you’re like me, you love Gary but can’t stand his voice, whatever you do… don’t buy the audio version of his book! I was gonna drive into a bridge embankment halfway through Chapter 1!!!

I’m a major musichead like Gary but his fucking tastes are SO cookie cutter. He doesn’t have one artist that isn’t mainstream & multiple award winning . Like he just has the past top 100 lists. Goof on Gary's gabbiness, but a guy is entitled to his own favorite songs. Howard has demonstrated no real knowledge of music other than popular titles by well-known bands. A music fan with deeper knowledge than Howard possesses is just a threat to Howard's flimsy image as a know-it-all.
