My dad was just like you Brent. Shane and I probably had similar childhoods. Only difference is my dad passed away in 2010 when I was 17. I haven't raced anything but rental Karts at Dallas Karting Complex since. Had to grow tfu real quick. So cool to see that. My dad also used to say "that's my dog" when he got excited about something I did. Thanks man. I ain't even sad. That shit makes me smile.

Congratulations Brent! Let me say this to you! As a great parent it’s always tough to let them go when they reach that time for them to go on their own. I know it was very hard when my daughter left for college. However the benefits of great parenting comes from getting to set back and watch them be successful and doing great things as a result of the great upbringing. This is why we do it right here! So I understand when you get emotional. It’s very satisfying to see your kids do great things! Enjoy it because we worked hard for it! It’s a beautiful thing brother!!! Good job Dad and son!!!

As a single dad in his mid 40's I'm hoping my last boy can work with me so he and I both can experience these so very proud moments a parent has . My boy has the brains and ability to crush his peers , but the stubbornness to cause failure as well . I feel a good parent is one that can moderate the two while allowing the kid to learn from there mistakes and realize the importance of being humble and understanding the importance of learning in the process not an easy job but seeing it with goofy and billy from src and the pride both there dad's have is enough to bring a teer and a smile at the same time
