Why is the shared budgets budget total split between all campaigns even though some of those campaigns are inactive? For example, a shared budget of $50 is applied to 5 campaigns for an average daily budget for each campaign of $10. But 3 of those campaigns are paused. Surely the average daily budget should be $25 each for the two active campaigns? But its not. It still takes into account the paused ones.
Wow, thx , this is useful, but I know the campaign budget sometime will over-spend to 2 times (100/day => max to 200/day),I have a question, do the shared budget have the same problems ?? Is it very accurate ? Thx a lot ~~~
If I use shared budget do the cost split over the campaigns for example I have 3 Campaigns A spends 10$ , B Spends 20$, C Spends 30$ , so the total will be 60$ . If I set the avg shared budget 70$ , will google spend the 10$ equally or according to the ratio spend for each campaign?
The budgets won't be evenly split. Google will shift budgets around to best maximize the spend. So if one campaign isn't using all of it's designated budget, it'll shift it to another campaign that could use it.
