Thank you for this video. I am taking online classes and found my mom's tablet she got a few weeks before she passed away but I couldn't find or Remember her information. You made it easy to understand and get through. Thanks again so much for your tutorial!!
I was having a hell of a time trying to help a friend with a tablet that I did a data backup and factory reset on, and this video really saved my ass after all the trouble I'd gone through trying to get it reactivated. Thank you so much, Max. You are a champion and a godsend.
@@melissaanderson1036 go back to the network page type random letters to a New network and tap and hold the letters u typed the menu pops up mine difnt work either but that did
BTW, mine was a Viking Pro with the removable keyboard that I got from a thrift store ( I volunteer there and do all the electronics for the store including wiping computers, etc getting them ready for re-sale to the public). Your video turned a tablet headed for the trash bin into a tablet that will sell making money for the thrift store (which only accepts donated stuff to resell). The thrift store is a church non-profit. Every dollar beyond expenses is given back to other community non-profits. We have already given back over a million dollars!!! EVERY dollar helps and you certainly just helped our organization. Certainly we will receive more of these Android devices with the Google lock system. Now I know I can overcome them!!! Thanks again. Could not reply to my own comment below!
Thank you so very much! Very quick and easy ! My daughter set this up and forgot all of her log in info and everyone looked at me like I was crazy for not knowing my gmail. My tablet died right when I signed in but luckily it went thru and recognized my email upon starting up and everything went smooth from there. Fyi now the info says 2020 when downloading the necessary file to change email instead of 2019 but still works the same. Thanks a million!
Question. Since you did not remember the original password, did you end up using a completely new gmail account on that tablet? I have a RCA voyager 7 inch and my girl factory reset it using the volume up and power button method, so upon trying to get back in, it wants the original gmail account and password which she forgot, will this help? Thanks.
@@lt5550 Sorry if this is too late, but yes it works! I used a completely different email and it works. Hope this helps you or at least someone with the same concern!
@@randallwilson8267 damn, I've been trying to get into my rca tablet for years now. Someone gave it to me but they didnt remove their account and they reset it and I can't get in
@@artois8908 Thanks. Will try it on my voyager 7 later today. Did you get the assist option on your tablet when you pressed on the typewritten word? Thanks again.
Amazing thank you so much finally got the tablet going after one year sitting in the room!!! Did not know how to get it back?? This video was soookk helpful thanks again 😊
Thank you my sister gave me her tablet/laptop bcz she couldn't open it due to forgetting password/email now I've sorted it thanks you your video I have a happy child love these helpful videos saves ppl with not much money a lot instead of having to go to a shop and pay out if the nose prices ❤💙
Wow, that WAS easy! I was trying to just install new firmware via the bootloader, but this is much faster and easier. Thanks, dude! You definitely earned this sub.
@@christianmorales6813 it does work.... bot sure what you're doing wrong but if you follow the instructions it works just f iui be. I found this tablet on someone's trashcan in my neighborhood, took it home and it was locked, searched if there was a bypass, found it, tried it, now I have another tablet for free that works.
YYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU MAN!!!!!!! Saved my kids tablet!!!!!! Had to do a little workaround on my mercury pro. downloaded the file to my pc, then load it on a sdcard and run it from there on the tablet, the rest pretty straight forward.
If you have a galileo pro (RCT6513W87)...this how you wipe out the nag about an old gmail account you can't remember (WITHOUT SOFTWARE): 1. Connect to Wi-FI network. 2. You will be prompted to enter the email you used to previously set up your tablet with. Type some random letters then double tap that until it highlights, and you’ll get cut copy share & assist button to the far right. Click assist. 3. That will bring up google.. start typing the word settings in the google search until you see the blue settings cog..Click it. 4. Under settings, you will see users , click guest. If you don’t have a guest, you can make a new user and click that. This switches you over to guest which allows you to enable developer options later(you can’t enable developer options if not in the a guest or created account). 5. Now you need to get back to the settings window, so repeat the above steps if necessary to do so. 6. In the settings, look for About tablet. Click it. 7. In there, click the “Build number” multiples times at the bottom (about 7 clicks or so) .. It should display a msg below indicating x amount more taps until developer options are turned on. Click it until you’ve enabled the developer options. 8. Back out one page to the main settings page, and now you should see developer options at the bottom right. Click it, and switch the slider to on in the top right of the developer screen, then click to OK to enable Allow development settings? 9. In developer options, enable OEM unlocking in the options below. This is what allows you to bypass Factory Reset Protection if you’ve forgotten your info. ..Now back out of settings(
Thanks dude it worked very well. I just wanted to add at 6:45 on the video, you don't have to reset just press the back button the sign in from there :)
feb 2022 and this still works. Old friend gave me their tablet and factory reset it but didn't remember their login info, so for months it was just collecting dust. Now I have a working tablet ^^
Thank you my autistic son changed his password and hard reset the device and it's been in a box for few years and I just pulled it out of that box and thanks to you I was able to reset it so he can use it again.
When I tap “assist” it doesn’t bring up anything. I see it gets my tap but brings nothing up! by the way, Max Cruz, thank goodness I found your video lol. Got this situation on a used Galileo pro.
I know this is a year later but maybe someone else is having the same problem cuz I was having this problem and I read the comment of the guy that said hey do it when you're typing the Wi-Fi password and the reason why I probably didn't work for you is because you have to hit show password in order for assist to come up and it worked for me
@@themrrhobot I gave the exact one in the video. Finally found a bypass and now the part where it says type email and pass it says error on that option.. if it's not one thing it's another
@@brettbrown1613 lol same as me had to fix loop first then found away to get on google and then look for a bypass just for the email to be replaced with error. Think its the updates
I have the RCA Voyager tablet 7 inch RCA. Will the same file you downloaded work for me? My girl factory wiped the tablet by pressing the volume up and power button method as opposed to doing it from the settings options while the tablet was on. She forgot the password to the gmail account I originally registered the tablet with and instead wants to use her new gmail account to use the tablet currently. Is that what you did? Or did you know the password you originally registered that tablet with? Will this method allow me back in the tablet using a different gmail as opposed to the one registered on the tablet? Thanks. I would really appreciate your insight. Excellent video by the way. Your explanation was clear and concise
