Good trick. I usually also set an alarm 15 minutes before leaving the house, to remind myself "whatever you're doing now, finish it because we're leaving!"
Last week I had an exam on Wednesday, at 11:30 am. I woke up at 11 o clock. My college is around a mile away. I didn't bathe, I didn't brush my teeth, I just wore my clothes, got a little bike (we have like taxi bikes in the Philippines weeee) and I was there in thirteen minutes precisely. It was an honest to god achievement.
I did the same. Had an exam for photography a couple weeks ago. Woke up at 9:00 my exam started at 9:15 and my college was 40 mins away. Ended up getting there at about 10 and luckily they let me in because It was a practical exam for photography
I worked with a lux brand event once and they actually had a problem when the guests wear something that looked like the style of their brand but not actually from their brand 😅 they rather the guests wore something that people wouldn't confuse with their garments

Love this look. If I were styling it and you weren't crazy late, I'd have paired that shirt dress with a French braid and the open-toe sandal (again, with time we'd fix the feet). So glad you didn't do the boot though.

The white shoes also looked good. They'd match the stripes of the shirt, but again I'm not a model invited to events 😂 love the collar shirt dress though! I noticed the buttons to be different colors. Almost like different enamels? If so, cool! There's a few luxury bags that have used either enamel on their clothes or bags (maybe) with different colored enamel. I think Louis Vuitton also does that for their some of their clothing so good idea to match that with the dress, of it isn't LV
