this is nice, thanks! Funny that I actually watched this video in Edge and used the Copilot in the side bar to "Summarize this video for me". Google should really bake Gemini to RU-vid too!

So. let me check my understanding as of May 2024. I already have a low-level Google Workspace. If I sign up for Gemini Business addon, I will get the same Google Pro 1.5 that the consumer Gemini is offering, but in my workspace...correct?
I don't see many useful features Google Workspace for Education. I have Exchange email, so no hope there, I can generate templates in Google Sheets with AI, marginally useful, I can have it help me write in Google Docs, so can lots of other tools, It can generate bad images in presentations. What am I missing? Is there a switch I should turn on because it sure doesn't seem to be worth the money.
Nice video. I'm new to all things AI, and would really appreciate if you could explain again how to get Gemini Business or Enterprise for Workspace for free, I didn't quite get the explanation. Our Workspace contract expires this year (but we aren't working with a reseller). Much appreciated!
Sure. Step 1 Get yourself a Google Partner (happy to quote you if you would like). Essentially when you are renegotiating your contract with the new reseller and committing with Google, you want to ask if there are additional discounts if you add on Gemini licenses. Then do the math to figure out how much discount you are getting and you will see that likely it makes the gemini licenses free even though technically you are paying for them, you make up for it in the discount to the other licenses. Then going forward as your company grows, your base licenses for workspace cost less as well.
Gemini Business and Enterprise are running on 1.0 Ultra. Gemini Advanced also runs on 1.0 Ultra. The price for Gemini business and Gemini through Google One AI Premium are both $20 monthly. There are differences between them, Primarily being that Gemini Business has more protections around it for business.
