Not to say this wasn't awesome already, but here's my thoughts on what I think would make this better: A lot of us can relate to the searching of how-to videos online, and you guys did a great job of depicting that. It does seem like Jacobus' character learns unnatrually quickly, but the parts where he's running makes it more plausible to believe he's learning on the fly. You could make him run around doing parkour-type-stuff (or just good ol' running) interspersed with the fighting parts. And here's another thought: when experienced martial artist DK Yoo was asked what his original or first martial art was, he replied "running." If you think about it, running is the most fundamental, intuitive human motion that we all know how to do from a young age, but is also commonly used by fitness experts and fitness beginners alike. What I'm saying is that there would also be a meaning behind having Mr Future Prez running around between fights--it would show that although he's a beginner, he's still human, and humans learn by doing what we can and pushing ourselves to our limits. ...just my two cents.
