As always great review with detailed explanation. I haven’t used that adapter so far however, it’s good to know that there is an adapter to make it possible to plugin the old earphone to new phones. 👍🏼👍🏼
As always, a thoughtful comment and I appreciate it! I still enjoy using the old headphones so this adapter is great in that sense. I used wireless ones for a while but I still feel more comfortable using the old ones so this adapter makes me happy! :)
Hello ladies! Glad you enjoyed the review! Indeed it is awesome even with the newer phones to keep using our previous headphones! As far as I am concerned they are far from obsolete. I like wired headphones much better than wireless, although wireless ones probably look cool etc! Lol!
Great question, I don't think I mentioned that in the video. They are the headphones that came with my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone. I believe they are called the AKG Samsung Galaxy S10 Earbuds. :)
Yes it does work. The adapter connects it to the phone such that it recognizes the earphones and the microphone. This is when I use my Galaxy S20 FE phone. So a similar android phone I would assume would work same way.
Ok, so I bought a Pixel Pro 7. Had to buy a USB-C to aux adaptor except it was for Apple..looks exactly the same. I was told it should work the same as Google's. Well, the volume is lower than before and lower than if using Bluetooth. Would a Google USB-C to aux adaptor work better for the Pixel 7 pro or will it work exactly the same as the Apple USB-C to aux adaptor?
I don't own an apple adaptor so I can't speak on it but the google one works fine for me. There are cases where it may not connect properly so you might just need to adjust the connection where the 3.5mm jack plugs in, or just disconnect and re-connect all parts and see if it fixes the issue.
@@Kaygee79 no it's type of music format like mp3 which is usually used for a everyday purpose due to its rich experience and lossless (hi-res) music of 2 minutes can reach upto 50 to 150mb and this kind of music format are WAV, DSD, ALAC, FLAC and AIFF. Please note that Bluetooth devices don't support such High quality audio formats in order to listen to these music a better digital to analogue converter is required which can generate high level output you can use this search term to get one 'hi res dac type c' but my recommendation is if you are regular format user like mp3 it's not worth buying this cause you never gonna use the full extent of this type of connector. *Google connector is a cheaper version of hi-res dac

Not sure, I just did a review on the product. I am a customer just like you so whatever you see on the video is pretty much my experience with the product. Did you watch the whole video? Maybe it might help you with your situation? Not sure why it's not working. Make sure it's plugged in properly on both ends, microphone and to the actual phone. Sometimes that might need adjusting and hopefully it works after that.
@@beatman9758 Sounds like it might not be recognizing the adapter or the adapter is not working or it might not be plugged in correctly. Most likely one of those situations. If you've checked that the connections of the headphones side and the phone side are proper and it still is not recognizing it could be the adapter or the phone somehow not recognizing. You could try re-booting the phone and see if that helps. After that possibly taking it back and trying a different one and see if that works. Also possibly try a different headphone and see if that works. You might have to try a few different things to isolate where the issue lies.
@@beatman9758 most likely the next option is to take it back to the store and show them it's not working, either get a refund or try another one and see if it works.
