Gemini is a product for users, and not on all Android devices. Google I/O is a developer conference. I don't quite understand why Google I/O is talking about Gemini. I mean, what do you want us Android developers to do?

I'm not sure about Gemini replacing Google assistant... I've been using both on my S24 ultra....and assistant still performs better in a lot of tasks.

All I can think about is how we weren't allowed to use calculators on tests because "you wont have a calculator in your pocket." And now AI literally does your homework for you now!

You can. But assistant features only work with voice commands for some reason

@@pranavyedlapalli2127 there is probably a shortcut. On an S10, i can. Swipe siagonaly from the bottom corner. I don't know what it is on other phones, but there probably is one.

@@Google Google should Support A52 Android phones Samsung Flagships but they care more for pixel phones i am very confused google is in many samsungs but they commerce Google Pixel Gemini is not on samsung for barn find reasons Google's boomers just update chrome and that's it someone even said I live in Europe and own a Pixel 7 Pro. Since Android 12, the new generation of Android has been so boring. We should refer to them as Android 12.1/12.2/12.3.
