Google also said they are switching from counting every view of ur listing to only counting UNIQUE views. They said many people view ur listing many times before calling. They were responding to me on Facebook when I asked how could my visitor count drop so dramatically.

Hi Luc, Once again, this was a very well thought out detailed video full of helpful information. Nicely done! I recall your video on the dynamic image option, and plan to watch it again. In my case, outside of a 1 - 2 month window where we have firewood available for sale, we don't typically offer products, however I saw in this video you showed an electrician with a few options. What would you think for a situation like mine? Would you suggest posting one of the following or all? a) 24 Hour Emergency Service b) Free Tree Removal Estimates c) Free 2nd Opinions Thanks for your ongoing education, Delfino

Thanks Delfino. You can use the product option to display whatever you want in your panel. It doesn't matter if they are real products or services. I would go ahead with all three options you suggested

Log into your google my business panel then select the photo option from the main menu. You should see a logo option in there

I have a good question I cannot find any answers for how do you boost your listing for other areas local to me would having people leaving reviews with keywords for the areas you have covered would that boost the listing for said areas

Great tips as usual. Can you recommend how to make sure that other Social Media sites show in your GMB listing? For example in my case Facebook shows, but not LinkedIn. Just in case, I am talking under the "Profiles" section.

Hi Miguel You cannot do it directly, but you can make it easy for Google to make the association. Usually this is done by linking to those social media profiles from your website (even a GMB website will work). If you also link to those profiles from citations, that can help Google make the association. If Google feels confident about the profiles and your biz, the algorithm usually includes them in the knowledge panel.

@@rankingacademy I think it is worth a video, of what to do to make sure that it is easier for Google to find them and include them in your profile. For us, we treat all social channels the same, for some reason only Facebook, Twitter and RU-vid are included while LinkedIn was left behind.

Luc - I have been using my home address but offer service to a local service area... so, I have really good rankings for my local area. If I change this from my address to the service area, will my local map rankings be effected?

If you do there is a risk your rankings will indeed be affected. In your case, I wouldn't make any changes but if google finds out one way or the other you might be forced into making the changes. Can you make a video to share how can we achieve a shop in shop listing on GMB? For example, my dad is a dental surgeon and has a dental practice and I would like to have my own independent dental practice in the same office location. Can you share how it can be marketed through GMB? My dad's practice already has a GMB listing.

Will, your businesses be distinct enough i.e, Would the name of your dental practice be different from your dads? Would you have your own phone number? Will you have your own entrance? Will clients be able to see clearly both practises on the exterior signs? Will you have your own website? If so then yes. If not, then there's a risk one of the listings will be filtered out.

Correct. If you visit customers at their home you are a service area type of business and shouldn't show your address. If you don't interact with customers face to face at all then you are not legible for a Google profile.

Hi Yusuf. There is nothing wrong with your score. This a bug with Google and no profile show %100. Mine also shows 80%

Se your listing as a service area type of business. Remove your home address and add the specific locations in which you operate

Hey Luc, for whatever reason I have my address listed on my GMB even though I do not do business there, I'm a home contractor So!.... should I risk removing the address, I've been suspended once before and I still don't know why it happened, I don't want to go through that again.

According to Google's guidelines, if you don't operate from a physical address and rather serve people at their own home then you are a service area type of business so your address shouldn't show. If you don't deal with people face to face either at your address or theirs, you are not eligible for a listing

Like I can't keep adding keywords ect, there's only so much you can do to a website isn't there? Surly ? I'm just confused by this SEO stuff lol
