I've had this phone until recently. Even though the software support ended in 2021, I had pixel experience rom on it and it extended the pixel's life by two years and when the custom rom support ended 6 months ago, it was time to move on. The battery was weak by the time the official software support was done but I replaced it and started using it like new. I dont think theres any phone that feels comfortable in the hands as much as the pixel 3 does. Such a nice phone. Too bad all the designs started to go south from that point.
Yes! Pixel 5 luckily still has a similar size, but it feels worse quality on the back. And newer phones are a lot bigger. I don't mind that, but I understand that it is very annoying for a lot of people.
@@Allen-R He is staying original Software support ended on 2021 , but he has "Pixel experience" custom rom on it , also i think CrDroid , [ROM][blueline][A14] iodé0S = LineageOS 21 + ,also has support for pixel 3..
This is the best phone I’ve ever owned. The photos and selfies that it could take were amazing. People were always blown away by them and would ask what phone I had. I’ve had newer Pixels and iPhones since then, and they don’t take nearly as good photos.
I agree man, I love my pixel 6 but something about the pixel 3 I just love and miss. I miss the small compact size, the Dule selfie camera and the fastr finger print scanner
Oh man this was a good one. First pixel I had with always on song ID. Squeezable sides to activate assistant, the swipe on the fingerprint sensor for notifications tab, dual selfie cameras for groupie shots. And extremely wieldly. This was a beautiful phone inside and out.
@@chrisevans1183 if u into gamin am not recommending aaand if u use mobile data it can use for like 3-4hrs , buuut if u can use a power bank thats not a problem . U cant get a such a camera specially night mod for this price point , its still a beast in performing anddd only downgrade is the battry , am using this is for like a year , buuut i always have a power bank in my right pocket i mean its still good phone if u can use a power bank and build quality and haptics are next level
Except for battery life everything is top class. I am using one since 3 years now runs smooth af but the battery gets drained too quickly thinking of switching to pixel 7
pixel 3 in white is amazing front firing speakers unlimited google photos storage squeeze for assistant dual selfie camera one handed device fabric case still using my pixel 3 till date as a secondary device
Nice! I also use it as a second phone and it used to be my daily driver. Good to see that you are still getting use out of an older phone and I completely forgot about the squeeze for Google Assistant.
@@ImportantTech actually i have installed custom rom on it running android 13 (what more it has unlimited google storage in original quality). when im out with my friends, i still take advantage of the ultra wide selfie camera for group shots which is very helpful. i recently changed the battery as well so hopefully it might last a few more years for me.
I'm still using this for making videos and to capture photos..... still feels best 😌(pixel 3 XL) If u want u can check them....all are taken from this phone but sometimes ultra wide lens is used...🤞🏼
Am currently using one after my pixel 6 pro was stolen but the only problem I get with is heating up even with smaller games.... So the Internet goes off here and there
Best phone experience, still running, change the battery though. Great camera. But stopped using it in 2022, due to security updates no longer supported. Pure Android still best way to go. Change to a flip 3, but camera disappoints.
I still use pixel 3, and as you said everything is great with phone except the battery. It takes 3 hours to charge and runs out of battery in 2 hours :).
