I was between 7 and 7a I finally made my choice on 7 because of the better protection, building quality, mics and more camera options thanks for the video you made me not regretting it
Maybe is a minor problem for you but the bump of the 7 makes it really fragile because how is it integrated with the chasist where as the 7a even though it has a bump too it is way more resistant to the bending because the bump is separed from the chasis, anyway, buy a good case and that wouldn't be as problematic if you don't do any crazy thing, you can search Jerry Rig Everything and look for the 7 pro (it has the same problem) and the 7a, then you can see what I mean
I am so impressed with the amount of information you shared in this video. Amazing job! I think I am going to pull the trigger on Google Pixel 7. Being "glass on the back" enjoyer, there is no other upper mid range device on the market with that feature, and whatever I select now, will be an upgrade over my LG G6 from 2017.
Good video! I got the 7a Coral with free Buds and very pleased. Took amazing pictures and videos for a RAMMSTEIN 🔥💥 concert this past Friday 23.6.23 in Madrid, Spain. Overall quality real good.
Wow this review is brilliant, thank you for posting such a detailed comparison video! Only just discovered your channel, have just subscribed and look forward to watching many more of your videos.
I must say you're highly underrated but I trust lady luck will visit this channel soon. And as a fellow pixel user with both Pixel 6 & 3 currently, I'll say these devices age really well. It's almost as if they get better with time.
Hey there, P7 how is it holding up? What I mean is the rear camera lens shattering? Heard alot of people in different countries with it breaking for no reason? Maybe do to temperature changes! Let me know please ?
At T-Mobile yesterday the Pixel 7a and Google Pixel 7 were the exact SAME price at $499. Even though the pixel 7a is newer it's the midrange version so of course I went with the 7. The only think it's T-Mobile only had the pixel in black. I was sad at first but not sad enough to spend $100 more 😂 My Google Pixel 3a just went into a black screen of death mode and always overheated 😭 so I had to decide fast. So far I'm loving the pixel 7. And I overnighted a cute case on Amazon. I just miss the fingerprint button on the pack and I hate that they're starting to get rid of headphone jacks on some phones. The camera quality on the 7 is Amazing! Also once I logged in with my Google information and put in my sim since I had backup on almost EVERYTHING transferred over. Bless the cloud. I was so worried about my recipes in my notes but everything was there. Even my apps were preloaded! Maybe I will update in a few months as I didn't know this phone had wireless charging and itself can charge other devices through battery share.
@@saufiapriyandi Yeah so far so good! I wish you luck and that your pixel 4 doesn't overheat or get a black screen of death. But be warned and back up everything in case! 🤞
Thank you so much for the video, I made my decision for the Pixel 7 real quick on the footage of stabilization and night. The difference is Tremendous.
yes brother, according to my observations, the selfie camera on the Pixel 7a takes photos in more detail and stably keeps stabilization during the video !!! this is just amazing, i thought pixel 7 is better than pixel 7 a until i saw this video. Simply top, thanks bro for the review. now i know for sure which one i will prefer.❤🎉
Came here to see the differences between the models to look at getting my mum one(she loves taking pics but her camera phones have never been much use). Recommended pixels to her as they are bang for their buck in value over dearer phones with poorer cameras. Just like to add I think either model she'd be happy with her. First time viewing your content, you've got a new subscriber. Information, no dressing things up and straight to it. Great review, Thanks
Just bought Pixel 7 yesterday, and I'm kind of disappointed to find out selfies are worse on the 7 compared to 7a. I don't really understand why there is any feature where the budget model outperforms the more expensive model in a significant way to be honest.
I bought the 7 too a couple days ago, yeah the selfie cam may be a little better with the 7a but the rear camera is a different history; the pictures will be better with the 7 on the long run, trust me.
I don't know why people are fixating so much on the bezels, I mean I have a Huawei P10 (bougth in 2017, still running well but the screen is starting to fail on one corner) which has huge borders on the top and bottom, and it has never bothered me whatsoever when using it. The borders of the PIxels would be already a huge upgrade over that.
@@benjib2691 Did you ever upgrade from your P10? I'm running the P10 as well and it's just... Perfection. It's so good that I'm afraid to upgrade. It's the perfect size, cameras are great without bulging out and the case is all metal. If you did upgrade, what do you get and are you happy with it?
It's the best! Everything looks so natural! No matter what I put my pixel 7 through the pictures always come out looking great. Even taking pictures of moving subjects nothing does it as good as the pixel
Great work! In my country pixel 7 costs 80$ more, but i think it's worth to go with pixel 7. for me the build quality was so importnant, now im on galaxy a53, but i think to upgrade to pixel 7 👍
Great review. Honestly everyone seems to have different opinions on the screen brightness. I have a pixel 3. I love it but it's not perfect. Need max bright outside in sun so I'd prefer something brighter.
Mobile 10 bit footage is often hard to use for social media... I use the iPhone 12 and Redmi note 10 pro and both can record native 10 bit, however, the over saturation or HDR makes it almost hard to colour correct on my mobile device as I have a mobile work flow. Honestly 10bit for social media work is almost a no go, until titok and Instagram, properly allow for them.
Great review...the video quality is awesome too. The only part you can improve is to show which model is displayed when comparing the pictures and camera. I couldn't tell which wss 7a picture and which was 7. Also when showing OIS during the video you didn't specify which is which and you didn't explain anything. Apart from that kudos man. Bang up review.
Thanks. I guess you zoomed in. The label of the pictures is at the top. I'll put it in a better position next time. For the OISz it's standard Stabilization, 4k30fps. Thanks for the feedback.
Nice comparison! Which one shows the most realistic skin tone? And the most realist colors overall? Last thing: for you, at what price difference the 7a is a better choice?
For me I’d say if you’re photo centric get the pixel 7a it’s designed for those who like social media more hence the higher mega pixel counts and better photo processing. But if your focused on performance get the regular pixel 7, it’s meant to be a power users phone hence why it’s bigger and has a better antutu score. Same goes with the pixel 6 and 6a, 6 for performance and 6a for camera capabilities. With that being said either of them would serve you well if you decide to choose one over the other.
@@cobaltblue5523 the difference between them both is that the regular 7 and 7a is that the pixel 7 is bigger which allows for better heat management and allows a bigger screen, the pixel 7 uses Corning gorilla glass victus which provides better protection for the screen of the phone while the 7a uses Corning gorilla glass 3, the pixel 7 allows for fast wireless charging and reverse wireless charging the 7a can do neither, the pixel 7 has an ip68 water and dust resistance rating which protects it better from dust and water while the 7a has an ip67 rating, the pixel 7 uses a laser detect auto focus sensor much like the LiDAR on the more recent iPhones while the 7a doesn’t have an inbuilt laser sensor, the pixel 7 has 3 mics and also has spatial audio the 7a has 2 mics and doesn’t support spatial audio.
Maybe it's problem of the version or the unit, or the focus but the 10 bit mode seems to be really overexposed, I haven't seen that problem in other reviews Did you had any internet speed differences on Wifi and data ? I know it's the same chip but maybe google has slowed down the internet speed on the cheap model to create a bigger gap between both models
Hello Valor, I am thinking of getting the 7 or 7a, but i saw alot of negative reviews about the camera glass shattering on the pixel 7, Have you had any such experience?
They both do pretty much the same. I like the pixel 7A better. The main reason is Pixel 7 is noted for overheating easily when in use a lot. The hotter the temperature the worse it gets. Some pixel phones are known for that. More money doesn't always mean better.
@@JVL_23Some people say the Android 14 update helped with Pixel 6 and 7 on overheating issues. But didn't totally solve the problem. But I also heard battery problems got better.
This man bought a renewed phone and tossed it inside water without fear..😂😮 Fantastic review man. The pixel 7's lower mega pixel camera is clear side by side especially with the front cameras. Great as you kept that graphics on genshin impact at default. Most people try to play at max, making the phones look really bad, comparing them with thousand dollar devices.
Hi Man, video comparision was nice. I am very confused to buy Pixel phone. Because of many you tubers review I saw heating problem, battery draining and slow charging. Can you please suggest I can buy this pixel 7a? My usage is normal day to day only, ocassionaly photos and videos, up to some time scial mexia thats all. Can I buy this one please suggest me
@@valorreviews Yes I like coral orange colour of 7a, but due to many reviews I was so confused. My usage will be for calling if any call recieve or need to call and will install around 3 company apps in phone and sometimes insta and youtubes and camera if any function occurs. Maximum due to my work will be in IDLE conditions.
Boss abeg I wan buy that Tecno phantom X2 Which other phone can I also compare before buying it Please recommend a phone that has the same mad spec as the phantom X2
@valorreviews Same here. Samsung would have been my choice if it had a snapdragon. The Pixel 7A's charging speed, battery, and heating are off-putting.
i wish i could afford this phone. Living in Africa is just messed up, especially Kenya. we just see reviews of good phones but in real sense some of us cant even afford half the price of it. we are just stuck on infinix smart hd 😢😢😢😢
