Very useful information but it's so fast and not clear what buttons you are pressing eg for the mini focussing picture around 6.09.

You have the best Pixel 8 Pro information that I have found. Thank you. I have a much better understanding of how to use the camera system and editing. I have had the 8 pro for 2 weeks and it is a fantastic device and my family was very impressed by the pictures that we took at our Christmas get togethers, too bad I didn't have the best understanding of how to use the camera. I was using just the simple auto modes and the pictures are just great. I am wondering where you live to have such beautiful scenery. The video that it records is also great. The shots you took at the grassy meadow on one of your other videos really showed off the capabilities of the 8 pro. Thanks again for your work on this it obviously took some time.

Cant you manual control apparture? And what about filters/Looks, like apple and samsung have? And will features like the magic eraser be for a paid subscription later??? I come from an old samsung and in google photos app it says a lot functions are paid.

Very good review, a huge step in the right direction for pixel camera,adding the pro mode is more than welcome. Google could add some live filters for portrait mode,like Samsung and Apple ,also in portrait mode, google should rid of the crop in,is very annoying when the subject is closer to the camera

Hey, I am so happy somebody watched this... 70% of my viewerbase ... do not open any pixel videos. Yes, the next thing I would do is a 1:1 vs S23U camera (features/editing), as you rightly said, on the S23U (when in FHD) you can use filters in real time, which is still not available on the Pixel... And of course the biggest miss... no pro video.

@VelianSpeaksTech btw,how's the selfie camera as on pixel 7 pro was horrendous, pixel 3xl selfie was so much crisper than s23u and pixel 7pro together

Amazing work for this video! It's so exhaustive and interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the next generation of Pixels. Meanwhile, I hope that the 8 Pro will put some extra pressure on Samsung. The S23 Ultra great, but with that competition, the company must become extremely perfectionistic. The Pixel could be even more threatening to Samsung than the iPhone, because iOS isn't in the way, which makes switching much easier.

@@VelianSpeaksTech Really! It might have been a good idea from Google to increase its prices. I feel like people will not consider the Pixel as a flagship phone as long as it doesn't have a flagship price. But I must admit that I'm looking more and more content about Pixel (and even iPhone) for their camera processing. I wonder regualrly if I would be ready to try a more boring phone to get a camera that works better in auto mode. I spend way too much time taking RAW photos or correcting the auto mode shots 🤔. That's why good tests like this one are so interesting.
