@@kierenkd Forums exist for every products from any brand about their issues with said product for one reason or another The only thing I’ve heard with the pixels are slightly worse battery life but I can live with it because I’m always near a charger
There are "small details" that is not often talked about, like my car have wireless Apple Car play and wireless charging for iPhone, but only wired connection for Android Auto, (but still wireless charging)
@@lifeisshrt7929 battery life, dropped calls, out of service, volume button issues, other issues. Not being able to get support when you need it. Pixel seems to have a lot more issues than other vendors. Buyer beware
@@AndrewTSq i have a 2011 chevy silverado it’s old and doesn’t have the tech/touch screens for Carplay so i don’t care for that at all until i get a newer truck what i do for media consumption howrver is i wear my airpods (one or 2 depending how i feel with transparency mode on) while driving & i have a YT vid, NBA game or music playing while i listen to it
I have an iPhone but I recently picked up a Pixel phone and I really like the Stock Android on the Pixel devices especially with the new 7 years of guaranteed software updates with the Tensor G3 chip. The software side of Stock Android is surprisingly more advanced & customizable than iOS and great for advanced power users like me. I am seriously considering switching to Android soon if Apple is unable to make an affordable New budget iPhone every year like Google has decided to do. Surprised to see a video on the Pixel 8a when you normally make iOS, iPhone, and other Apple device videos. Refreshing to see from you, thank you.
@@timscorp11 Fixed last month in a firmware update rolled out on April, 22nd, 2024. “Google rolls out Pixel 8 and 7 update to finally fix their cellular network issues”. -TechRadar
@@timscorp11The Pixel 8a in this video seems like a fast & capable device to me. No noticeable lag or performance issues. I haven’t had any performance issues with my Pixel phone.
Great unboxing and overview Aaron! The Google Pixel 8a looks like a solid budget option with some impressive features, especially considering the $499 price point
@@Tamayo.Sama2023 People always find a way to complain about everything. The design is honestly awesome, especially for a budget device, and the plastic back is still pretty neat and doesn't collect fingerprints like 8 or 8 Pro.
Wouldn’t be surprised if I switch to a Pixel 8a, this summer, instead of an iPhone 📲 16. Pixel 8a and Pro look like great androids! Thank you for a great unboxing video!
This is what I like about this channel. You are heavy on the apple iPhone but still do some reviews on non apple items. Why not review some other phones for those that aren't all about apple all the time.
nice video aaron, i love that green colour 🥰. Thank you for shooting videos in 60fps :) Its so silky smooth! I hope you shoot all your future videos in 60fps. Watched this one on 2160p 60fps 😍
I switched to google at the beginning of last year. It wasn’t too bad. Googles customer service is worse and the fingerprint scanner is terrible. Other than that it wasn’t a bad experience
Apple has better resale value and customer service. I can schedule a genius appointment and get my issue fixed that day. I was an Android user from day 1 (T-Mobile G1) up until HTC died. The iPhone 5s was my first iPhone and I haven’t looked back since.
@@moloono1 agreed, Apple excels at customer service and repair options. I always recommend AppleCare even it has been improving over the years. Used to be limited to 2 accidental damages. Now it’s unlimited accidental damage repair. Had my 12.9 inch iPad Pro replaced for 49.00 compared to the 799 I would have paid if I didn’t have it.
I like what I am seeing here. Would def consider straying from the Apple ecosystem, with a side phone. Seems to have the right mix of practical, cost value, and usable features…..where Apple continues to screw around with simplicity.
Android is advanced with things like RCS messaging, Circle to Search, and AI features. iOS will probably take all of these things and probably make it better...that's just my opinion. Apple always has something old for years, then when they finally put it in, it is better. For example, Samsung (I think) came out with Ping, which could send photos by holding a phone in front of another. Apple STEALS this idea and turns it into AirDrop, basically the same thing as Ping, but adds the convience of pressing a button and instantly getting a picture, instead of holding a phone on top of another.
Their software support is truly impressive. I’ve always used android devices due to my obsession with customisation, and it isthat factor that has kept me loyal to the Droids. I’ve played around with iPhones post launch in store but I just can’t; although I do use an iPad.
@@mxmus08remember when Google promised 💯 percent unlimited photo storage for pixel owners then took it away. Google isn’t a reliable company when it comes to customer promises. And for nearly the same amount money if you’re gonna get the flagships, at least you can go to an Apple Store and get help or Google. You can’t even go to the store. You have to ship the device to them if you happen to have the warranty or extra care support, they send you back a remanufactured phone, which is usually junk. Apple is way better to me. Androids do have a lot of gimmick things they do, but they’re not usually practical.
I am really intrigued to get that one. I use Apple since many many many yrs.. and it just got so bored and is not smart anymore.. Time to change. Thanks for the Video Aron!!
Do you know if they have inside USB 3 or still USB 2? The reason I ask is, I use an ASUS RT-AX57 Go WIFI Router where you can connect your Phone as USB Ethernet and on iPhone or Android using USB Tether.. The issue is just, that the most Android smart Phones having USB 2 connection and the Internet is really slow in that way (even yes with 5g, the USB 2 slows all down to 10-15mbits) For me would be important to have USB 3
But why you stop making video of every update of Google pixel monthly or Android updates because you previously make a videos on pixel on some I think one year you only unboxing the pixel 4 not review the updates of pixel devices what every month
Can reviewers please stop saying Pixel A series is a cheaper version of the regular Pixel. Pixel 8 has Gorilla Glass Victus the Pixel 8a has Gorilla Glass 3 with a rainbowing effect.
How you gonna just casually mention it's reasonable that the separate charging block is an extra 35?! No that's not reasonable! How are they gonna sell you a phone that will just die without buying something separate?!
