I can recommend Google pixel because of how great their software is and I love that atleast their foldable was not a failure yes the thick bezzles really irritate slot of pple but it was Googles first foldable phone and its much slimmer than the competition plus the outer display is big and can be used just like a normal phone without needing to open up the inner bigger display

The Pixel Fold is a beautiful device. It's low key a mutt--the secure still-like positional hinge of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the body dimensions of the OPPO Find N, and the hinge style similar to the Microsoft Duo. I cannot wait to use mine. The 2nd generation will be even better, but this first generation is absolutely a clear statement from Google and positive potential of foldables involved in our current tech space/era.

I’m pretty sure the inner screen is exactly the same size as the Fold 4. 7.6 inches. It is just in a different aspect ratio.

I like how Google built this foldable .beautiful design .for me personally i think the bezels make this phone more charming .well there is no perfect technology, that means you won't ever be able to satisfy everyone. I can't wait to try mine.

Just based on the dimensions alone, this is one of the only two foldables that I'm interested in (the other one is Oppo Find N). But the Pixel software and experience make Pixel Fold the only foldable phone to get (at least for me).

Man i love this phone. The battery is ok. Its gotten better as I use it. The bezel is something i dont mind at all. Its pixel-esk if you will. The front display is literally perfect. This phone reminds me of the old HTC G2 mixed with the Microsoft Duo. Ny biggest problem is charging speeds. With the pixel stand 2, this only gets 7.5W. That is mind blowing.

A few reviewers are stating battery life is horrendous. One reviewer only got just over 4 hours. I went to a cell phone to cut the phone line to the wall. On this phone it appears I would be tied to a charger line to the wall....and for $1800+. How was your battery experience?

I'm not impressed by foldable smartphones, I don't see the point of them for me. My main working device is a laptop. And a smartphone has to fit in my breast pocket, like the iPhone 13 mini, which I adore.

I've said this many times but it bears repeating... Bezels are a good thing. Having space to grip your phone without covering the screen, especially with a foldable, makes the device a lot more functional to use on a daily basis. I seriously do not understand many reviewers focusing on bezels year after year, as it has become a completely pointless conversation for some time now. There is no modern smartphone in existence with bezels that are too big... aside from maybe something like an iPhone SE, which uses an absolutely ancient design anyway.

I think its nice but the surface duo/2 is incredibly well built has only two screens but they not bonded and made of plastic. I will keep using my duo 2 but I do think this a nice looking device and I am sure many will not be disappointed 🙂👍

@adityatheinvincible The first gen products are always a compromised experience but this is far more polished, only drawback is the battery & the processor which heats up a lot. For daily usage it's fine but expected more fast charging speeds

I don't like it. Too big, I didn't use any of these apps and functions. Too many and too complicated for me though. And I hate android. Very complicated. I prefer IOS and always will use iPhones because it is easy to use and furthermore I only use my phone for calls, texting and use the GPS only. Mainly for work use only. To call my clients and meet them. I personally hate Google maps. Not accurate. It always brings me to the wrong directions! Apple map are very accurate though.......this is just my own preference. I use my mobile for my work not for fun. I don't use any of the apps, games or camera......

Hi! On the surface, this folded phone is quite beautiful, but yes, I don't want an android phone anymore, although this phone looks exciting because it looks like a normal phone, but at the same time it is foldable and the screen can be made bigger. I myself feel that I'd rather save up for either a slightly older iphone or a brand new 15 series iphone because I like the iphone better now! Thanks for the insightful video as there is always something to learn. ☀️

@devporussur couldnt care much about benchmarks. as long as future gen tensor chips meet snapdragon 8 + gen 1 with 14 plus level battery life and without getting even warm so that the phone can give the cool to touch feel efficiently, more than enough for me

@drlgrnf Great phone! I like when you mentioned some of it's downside such as the thick bezels and lack of supplementary accessories which I think is reasonable for a high-quality performing phone. Google must have poured out every single premium quality there is on that phone. My only suggestion though is for Google to increase the height of the phone to justify the wide screens. Overall, awesome review from you Dion!

Google being a software company, did a good job with this foldable imo. I like the form factor more than the z fold, especially when using the inside screen. @robin_wallflower I’ve been using iPhone 11 and I’m loving the user experience (looking forward to upgrading it). I never had the opportunity to try a Google phone yet. But seeing the Google Pixel Fold, it looks premium, and quite very nice for their 1st foldable smartphone. But it’s so expensive. I don’t think I can’t afford to buy one🤭. Maybe, if I have the money to spare, I can try the Google Pixel 7a to start using a Google phone.

@chad_artiaga12 The first Pixel device I own is Pixel 6. I’m still using it now. Pixel phone is the smoothest android phone I have owned. Least amount of bugs, no bloatware, very simple and unique and produces superb photo quality. In Pixel, you will get the best phone without spending so much. I remember when I get my first pixel device I was very excited too even though I bought it as a secondhand device, I enjoy it a lot. 😊❤😊
