Google Pixel Tablet vs OnePlus Pad - Who Wins? 

I went with the OnePlus pad for its convenient display ratio for web browsing & the magnetic keyboard (the tracking pad is super handy) which makes for a great laptop alternative. Really happy so far.

Great video! I'm still trying to decide between these two, but leaning towards the Pixel since I have the rest of the Pixel family and I'd like the consistency. Decisions decisions...

you don't need a speaker dock when the devices speaker is just mind blowing on the oneplus pad

Google haven't made it easy on themselves here in UK where the Tablet is £599 for the 128gb. Just by glancing at the software implementation of both Oneplus and the Pixel on a day to day basis the Pixel looks more appealing.

OnePlus Pad for me. The aspect ratio difference is a night & day difference in all your side-by-side shots. I am mostly using it for reading and music, and there is a reason that Apple went for 4:3 on the iPad. The only thing I really wish it had was the fingerprint scanner in the power button since the face unlock is unreliable/less secure.

I know you are very excited this year with the large variety of tablets! I'd go with the Pixel tablet mainly due to the facts that I don't like the square look of the OnePlus and the OnePlus is a Chinese brand, which I don't like. It's a shame that Google is too cheap to give a 90 or 120 hertz refresh rate. You can get considerably cheaper phones with those refresh rates. But the Pixel tablet looks more premium, has more software support coming, has a dual purpose with the dock, and likely has better cameras.

Display ratio for web browsing is better on the Oneplus.

thank you for doing this comparison! I went ahead got the pixel tablet because that dock just makes so much sense! But i was leaning towards the oneplus pad as i've been using their phones since the 9 pro then i got the 10 and now ive got the 11. I also use the z2 buds from oneplus so i was really leaning towards keeping it in the eco system but like i said that dock being included and always having it docked and ready to go just makes perfect sense because i do always seem to grab a tablet only to find out it's dead lol. Plus i just can't spend 500 on a mediatek run device but that's just me.

People who use their tabs most of the time would prefer the one plus tab And people who rarely use it may prefer the pixel tab

i prefer the one plus in most ways as a tablet and am also a oneplus fanboy, rocking their phones for years now. that said in this case, the speaker dock is a killer app for how i use a tablet, so the op pad though superior isnt even in the running (just like all the other tablets without speaker docks arent) i do wish op would do a dex type ui too, even though dex itself isnt that great.

i really like ocmpanies are making tablets regardless if they are great or not. Google should’ve never stopped in my opinion.

which one has a better screen? please 144 Hz is better but nicer??? colours etc...

Strangely in Sweden Oneplus is substantially cheaper. $600 vs $780

I has Google pixel C tablet and now I have OnePlus pad. Battery: So, Pixel C even after 5 years of usage works like 30% longer compare to OnePlus pad.

I think for me having 144hz is the deal breaker and ive always been a fan of OnePlus 😉

Good review. The OnePlus Tab is a nice device FOR SINGLE USERS ONLY. It's HOPELESS for families. Seriously don't buy it, I did and took delivery today and quickly discovered one MASSIVE failing. There's no option to switch users from the lock screen, so it's hopeless as a family device. Oneplus won't even recognise it's an issue. Their solution is that the last user must first login, then switch to the next user... because they think that's more secure.... So it's more secure that everyone must share their passwords around to be able to change users. Rigggght. Take a look at your competitors and get back to selling phones (of which I'm a long term fan). Time to return the device and buy a Pixel Tablet.

I mean honestly, just buy a jbl speaker. Google is a bunch of mongols. Making a sub par speaker. When you have better options. But both have completely disappointed me. Oneplus used to be amazing and now it's worse than apple. Nothing new tho.
