I learned how to create a crossword puzzle for my students' distance learning in Google Sheets. I inserted a text box for the clues for Across/Down. I want to edit the clue numbers in the puzzle but I cannot get the numbers to change. I click on the beginning of row/column and went to "insert note". In the note I see the updated number but not when I click the print option. The old numbers are still showing. Any help would be fantastic. I'm not sure if I need the notes and the text box clues.

When you are putting in the names and ages, how do you move so quickly down the column? If I hit the TAB key, it sends me to the next column (horizontally), instead of down the column. Thanks!
Thanks, I appreciate this tutorial. I am trying to figure out how to have the cells input information in a block (multiple lines vs one long line). I have a table with a column for the date, what is blooming, and then I need to write a note, which might be one word or a long sentence. I want the long sentence to push the cell to a block and not just a long line. Is this possible? Thank you!
Hi, Thank you for your comment! Am I correct in understanding that you are trying to adjust the way your cells interact with text? You can set different text wrapping settings by clicking on Format -> Text Wrapping and selecting what you would like to use. Does that work for your purposes? If not let me know and I will see if I can figure out hat you're trying to do.
When I create simple spreadsheets like this - I try to print it and get a gadzillion pages. How do I define the beginning and ending of the spreadsheet?
You can select the cells you'd like printed, including the rows and cells adn when printing selected 'selection' rather than the entire spreadsheet. This will help you print what you need.
I have a few criticisms. If you could speak louder, and zoom in on the area you're working on, that would be most helpful. I turned the volume all the way up on my device, but the audio was still too soft to hear. It is difficult to see the words you type because the screen is zoomed all the way out. THANK YOU!
I agree with all the comments you have made and as you might have seen from exploring the rest of my channel this was one of my first videos from about 3 years ago, I have since drastically changed my video format. You would set a custom format. More formats > Custom number format and then in the input box you entered the format of the number.. "+"#"("###")"###"-"#### Will turn the number 12345678900 into +1(234)567-8900 Find the format that works for you. ...and press "Apply".
Thanks for the video. I would like to learn more about Pivot tables in Google Sheets, maybe this could be the subject for an additional video. I find google sheets increasingly competitive to Microsoft excel however, the one thing it still lacks is the speed of the UX, what is your mind on this? Please take a look and write some feedback on applications and possible improvements.

Not sure what you mean? I have never come across a limitation of 53 lines? The official limitations are: a limit of 400,000 cells, with a maximum of 256 columns per sheet. sometimes i can click a cell and correct a spelling error and sometimes i click and it deletes everything in the cell. why? how do i make it always allow me to edit a cell
Donald Toomey I'm not sure what you mean? When you click on a cell you should be able to edit this cell in the box above the spreadsheet. I hope that helps. If not let me know.
+Lance Dwight you would have to make sure the +1 is set as text or a string rather than numeral. You can select the cells and under format set it to text if you need the plus one to show up. Hope I understood you question. If not let me know and I'll see what I can do;-)

volume is very low i can barely hear the instruction my desktop's volume as well as the video's volume is already on its maximum level but still i can barely hear you
Agree. My first couple of video had poor audio and I have since(some year ago now) made some significant changes to the quality of the videos. Looking at redoing the old sheets videos into a slightly longer and better quality video. All the recent videos should have much better sound.
Not at all. Some of my older videos had poor Audio quality and I have since made changes to this. I'm convinced you will find my more recent videos easier to hear.
