Boy, I went through such a hard time associating my website to youtube... several videos, none explained the details of the really important part (how to embed the code to your website)!!!!! Thanks SO MUCH!!... This was driving me crazy!! THANK YOU!!
I had the same problem, even trying to look for problems to solve on my website so it can be seen in Google, been searching so long now how to get my site into Google and it's frustrating 😤 as no one wants to help you.
[VIDEO] How to verify your WordPress site in Google Webmaster Tools using WordPress SEO by Yoast ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-68rCOBCuDtM.html
I wish your video was on #1 spot for Google Search Console Verification .. I wasted so much time and then found your video. This is perfect , thank you!
You're welcome Rash, I'm glad you got it working! It's probably too old for the #1 spot. Even though this video still works I might make a new one to see if I get the #1 spot.
Thank you! Your video REALLY provided me with an easy to follow, practical and to the point directions to get this done! ...after search and try five other videos including two in my own language...
Thank you for your help hear as i have been searching for this and took me alittle time to do. Also I just wanted to ask you have you got any videos on SEO as i think i have issues that need solving on my website, but as I am new to all this not sure how to do it. Would love my site to get seen in Google and get some traffic to it.
Great tutorial. Nice and simple. I hate it when people make tutorials and then go on to say "well I've already verified this site blah blah blah". What about the xml sitemap? Do you have a video for that please?
+Kris Bumhead Hey Kris, your comment fell through the cracks and I didn't see it until now. If you still need it, here's a video for creating XML sitemaps quickly and easily: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0GVaJbeoQlw.html
I have a question: can you verify this way if you don't have a child theme on your website? I tried adding the tag myself but I can't as I don't have this child theme. I'm scared it will overwrite something as you said it add the tag for you to the code? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for amazing video !!
+Saket Kale Sometimes when that happens it's easiest to try one of the other verification methods rather than trying to figure out what went wrong with the meta tag method.
I have implemented the same as this on the video but not on SEO, I had done it with the (hostgator control panel) .. should I do it again like on the video?
Hello, I really appreciate this video bcs it's kinda helpful. But anyway, how if I got a notification like, "Verification failed. We were unable to connect to your server." after trying this for several times? I hope you can give me any feeback, thank you.
Hi I am new to SEO world. Could I verify my GSC with google analytics and then generate my sitemap with Yoast. In this instance, do I still have to verify my GSC with Yoast? Thanks.
i tried to copy the html tag into the header but it did not work . I have the plugin wordpress seo by Yoast but was not able to get the html tag that you mentioned so that I could copy the code can you help me out with that step-- thanks
I know this is not related to this video but I have a question. Yesterday I was trying to change my theme on WordPress and somehow I added my ads code wrongly in the header. So I changed to another theme but I found out my post shows in full on my homepage (blog) but once a post is clicked it will show just the first sentence. And this is happening to all my post. I am trying not to freak out but I am. Pls any help will be appreciated. My readers are complaining they can't see post in full. Thanks
Hi! For some reason when I go to verify the HTML tag after I've saved it onto my site Webmaster says "verification failed: we couldn't find the verification meta tag" yet I'm certain that I've done everything exactly the way you've shown here. Any ideas?
I am doing another video to understand how to use my SEO Plug in better. And they are asking us to do this same thing to verify google webmaster tools verification. but.,.. I did this a long time ago... and... I noticed inside this same box is my url. Is that what normally happens when it is verified? I do have all of my pages on this same page that is on your video here. So I assume it is ok!
+ILU 777 Good question. Once your sitemap is successfully submitted you don't have to resubmit it. When content is added to your website it will be automatically added to your sitemap and then Google will visit your sitemap on a schedule that Google sets to find your new content. The only exception is if you change the URL your sitemap you will have to resubmit it the sitemap.
I have a question, this verifycation method is only for normal wordpress site ? I can verificate a free wordpress blog? for example "namesite.wordpress.com" Sorry for my English : ) Thank You.
Hi not sure what i am doing wrong but i have verified www. version of my website and trying to verify without www. and where am i suppose to upload my verification file? i was told i need to verify both with and without www. Appreciate any help.
+ARPNA VIDUSHI Hi Arpna, you actually don't have the verify both separately because you don't want there to be www and non-www versions of your website. That's bad for SEO. What you want to do is verify one the one you want www or non-www. And then inside that property in Google Webmaster Tools set the "Preferred Domain". Here's how: support.google.com/webmasters/answer/44231 I hope that helps!
Thank you so much for quick response. Saw some other tutorials which said verify bothe version. dint know thats not good for SEO. Do you have any tutorial for how to carefully chose title and description for Page SEO please? and Any tutorial for understanding how google analytics works?
Hi Saurabh, You'll need to verify your site before you create a sitemap and add the sitemap to your Google Search Console account. But your Google adsense account you can apply for at any time. You just need to have a domain name (and preferably a website on that domain) to apply. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Hi I've tried this way too and keep coming out of this message from google search console "We could not verify your property....." Is it a theme issue? I tried to write several times in the header.php file I've tried different themes I did not happen now I wanted to understand what was the reason? Thank you
+Zornitsa Marinova It can be caused by all sorts of reasons, that's why Google search console gives so many different ways to verify. In your case it was probably something to do with the theme's header. If you keep moving the meta tag higher in the file it should work eventually. Then you would know what in the header file was blocking the verification. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Oh my fucking God you are my hero!!! your videos have helped me many times before, showing me simple ways to do the things that google themselves can't explain worth shit, thank you! subscribed.
I cannot for the life of me work out why my site doesn't verify. I am using a theme from tesseract from TYLER.com and i did everything in this video. i literally only just started my site. pretty much just a basic menu and the domain stuff. the only plug in i have active right now was the wordpress SEO from yoast. so i don't think anything could be interfering. Can anyone give me some advice? my site doesn't even show up on google when i search the exact url.
Thanks for the video mate. I am still facing a problem after doing all this. My website is not being able to get verified. Surprisingly, a couple of months ago I could verify the website (both www and without www) and the webmaster tools had started showing me the data as well. Suddenly, it got unverified by itself and since then I am not being able to verify both the versions again. Please help!!
+Amandeep Singh Multani Hi Amandeep! Strange that it unverified on its own, did you move hosts or something? Do you have a caching plugin installed? They can cause problems like this. If you do have one you can try clearing the cache and then deactivating the plugin. Then try to verify the site again.
