Can’t believe 30k people disliked this. This is my 5th time coming back to this video. It’s so moving. I get sad when I see Kobe, Gianna, Chadwick and Ruth. So many people lost their lives last year, it’s amazing how they were able to capture such sadness and hope all in one video in 3 min.

I don't know what those people are talking about, talking about "bots" and what not. It saddens me sometimes to always come to the realization, that there are some people, who for some reason(sometimes appearing to be no reason at all) are just so hateful.. It's heart breaking if you allow it too. People who live and breath, eat and sleep, do all the things that we could potentially do.. And yet, when it comes to the most primal respect for not just HUMAN life, but LIFE for all.. There are those who are born spiritually and morally blind and deficient.. And I don't know why it's such a tough uphill battle to educate them, to show them different from their grim and really disappointing outlooks and ways.. I apologize for the lengthy response, but they were making some bs excuse about "bots" and people need to stop acting like "bots" then..

I remember sitting waiting for the ball to drop, and this ad came on, and I remembered every emotion I had gone through, every time I felt entirely alone. Every time I wanted to break down. Every time I felt like nothing would ever be ok again. And I reminisced on everything and everyone we’d lost. And I just remember sobbing. Uncontrollably sobbing. About George Floyd, Jacob Blake, Breonna Taylor, Chadwick Boseman, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and Kobe Bryant. About all the millions that had lost family members too soon. About the thousands of acres of forest destroyed by human caused wildfires. Everything from that year came back at once and I just remember thinking. Everything is gonna be ok.

Asking one of the real questions! *I'm not sure* but I'm thinking it's mainly due to people being inside and isolating a lot more, so they spend more time on the Internet as a result. That and the pandemic (and other things too maybe) creating a lot of uncertainty and fear in people, so it's a relief for them to look into the "why" about stuff. This could be wrong and/or other big factors involved, but this is what I personally think.

2022 now, and I just watched this video, for those who are saying 2020 is a year to remember. My whole ENGL 103 class forgot about it. When our prof asked us what is a significant moment in history that changed us forever nobody mentioned covid-19. It has become so normal that we don't see it as important anymore. It was and still is. But it has become the new norm.

31 Dec 2022 One day to go feeling emotional another year has came even tho i haven't really achive that much in these three years but there are some moments that i will cherish forever. met some amazing people grew stronger, wiser and more compassionate. It was a very bad year for me, because in this year there were many severe tragedies from hearing the number of Corona patients dead to the explosion that occurred in Lebanon, which caused famine to a racist issue in America with the racist issue that was caused by France and many things.
