Hi everyone! In this video I cover a behavioral question focused on customer empathy. You may get a question similar to this one in your Googleyness and Leadership interview. Good luck!!

Jeff, thanks for great videos, but the subtitle was very distracting. I would appreciate if the subtitle can be a little smaller!

@Gold_Stone, thank you so much for this feedback. I know YT has CC, so I don't actually need to provide subtitles. This feedback is very helpful, thanks!

Jeff I've heard if maximizing salary is important then promotions is not actually the way to go.. Studies show that if we change jobs every 1-2 years then salary will soon outpace any raises/promotions you'd get if you had stayed.. so what to do to earn more ? Any better ideas to know and apply in initial stages of career in service based industry.. 2) Also which books could help in such a situation..

@mohibquadri4053, maximizing total compensation before starting at any company is critical because you can control your comp coming in (to an extent), but promotions are definitely tougher to control. And yes, we live in a world where changing jobs every couple of years will 100% earn us more money over our careers. Anyone that is early in their career, I always emphasize the importance of becoming a great interviewer. The better you are at interviews, the more money you will make in your career. And when you think about the ROI of practicing your interview skills, few things in life will have a bigger ROI. Books, oh boy! I consume so many books it would be hard to pinpoint one that would be the most impactful. For anyone early their journey, a great foundational book to start with is Think and Grow Rich. I recommend this as a great starting point.

Hey Jeff, if the interview is 45 minutes, you did it all in 5-6 mins?
@jeffhsipepi

@saedf0, typically, you will get 5-7 questions in a Googleyness and Leadership interview, but that can vary greatly depending on your interviewer and the types of questions they ask you. I hope this sample question and answer helped!
