I always thought it was ironic too... Googoosh's sings "Shekayat/Complaint" to the Shah for his birthday! If you listen to the lyrics and take into consideration what time this was taking place... it's VERY ironic. Oh well, the clip does represent the decadence of the time...

It must ave been very stressful growing up as Reza Pahlavi...knowing he would be king one day and then the revolution and exile. The Shah of Iran had great ambitions for his country. The Iranian people were just not ready for the modernization of the country... Now look at what they got in the Shah's place, with Khomeini and his henchmen. I wish the best for the Pahlavi family and maybe one day, things will be different... Then Iran will match its greatness of culture, in its government.

First, I did not say Persis, I said Perse (or Perseis) [see what I mean?] who was supposed to be a daughter of Oceanus (Okeanos) and Tethys. To add to these similarly sounding names confusion, there were two Perseus and three Perses. Now if you dont mind, I think that I am thoroughly dizzy (or is it dizzie)?
