There's hard cases for all jump starters on Amazon and Ebay. These portable jump starters should come with one instead of the consumer having to purchase one separately. Just a money maker

You could do it that way, but I prefer the light on the same side as the clamps, so I don't have to hook up cables first, then hook up to the unit. It just seems like unnecessary extra work. Now, if you hook it up your way and you have a bad connection, then you have to unhook the unit from the cables for light, only to hook it back up again when you have a good connection. Too much work, shouldn't be like that. Lol. In a pinch, I would do it your way if no other options. But with technology these days, the light should most definitely be on the same side as the cables, so you can use the jump starter without fumbling around in the dark. I appreciate the comment. When I ordered the GT4000S unit, that is the one they sent me, so I thought this was the GT4000S the whole time until you mentioned it...lol. So actually, them sending me the wrong unit was in my favor, since it came with the preheat technology and the GT4000S does not. Thanks

The GT4000 has cold weather battery preheat.

Unfortunately, you could only buy this unit on Amazon, Ebay and sites like that. The Gooloo website doesn't have this unit, along with many other Gooloo products for sale for whatever reason. The only products Gooloo is promoting on the website is their Warrior line of jump starters. So your best bet is to go to Amazon or Ebay if you want to see specs or purchase one

Now we know what the difference is between the GT4000S & GT4000. Thanks for letting me know, since I was unsure. I was actually showing the better unit GT4000 that has pre heat technology. Like I mentioned already, when I ordered the GT4000S they sent me the unit I reviewed, so I didn't know i was reviewing the GT4000 and not GT4000S. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

On Amazon, the Gooloo GT4000 is around $219, maybe cheaper or more depending who is selling.

If you really thought about things the light should most definitely be on the same side as the cables since the light is pointing directly at the battery, if the light is being pointed in the opposite direction you cannot see anything in the dark. And in reference to your comment if the light was on the same side as the cables the light would be smaller, yes in theory the beam would be smaller, but it would still put out about 400 lumens and put enough light where it needs to be, and you could see everything clearly in the dark. I'm assuming you have never used one of these portable jump starters under your hood in the dark, because if you have used one in the dark you would realize your comment doesn't hold water. So do us a favor, buy 2 portable jump starters, one with the light on the opposite side of the cables and one with the light on the same side of the cables, then go under your hood in the pitch black dark and try to jumpstart your vehicle with the light pointing at the battery and then try jump starting with your jump starter light pointing in the opposite direction away from your battery. I will be waiting for the results. And in reference to your comment "If you use the light to find your battery then hook up the cables to the jump starter" doesn't really make sense since if you have a bad connection you will have to unhook the cables for light only to rehook the cables when you have a good connection, it defeats the whole purpose of having a light on the jump starter in the first place if it's used like that, see what I mean? There's absolutely no reason for negative comments (Use Your Brain). This is Not the first negative comment you have made in reference to videos on RU-vid, please do us all a favor and think before you comment, there is no need to be sarcastic or negative. You could have just posted a nice comment letting us know your opinions, and we would have answered kindly, but you chose to start off saying sarcastic and negative comments in my videos, and others.
