@@charlesthornberry5902 Phish doesn't count as a band. That's an organized religion. Goose is a follower of that religion. So I stand by Cary's statement 100%
This band is absolutely smashing like no one has in a very, very long time. Their jams are getting better and better. Can't even describe how good you guys make me feel.
Goose actually opened up for my band after getting added to the bill last minute. We all did Wim Hof breathing exercises back stage. Extremely nice guys. Happy for their success.
Can we just stop for a moment and talk about that Tumble!! Holy smokes! The tempo change into that face melter of a solo. A true masterpiece for the soul!
Set 1. Earthling or Alien? • Echo of a Rose • All I Need • Indian River • Wysteria Lane • Rockdale SET 2 • Slow Ready • Old Mans Boat • Creatures • Tumble • Nights in White Satin* • White Lights E: Magic Carpet Ride*->Jive Lee->Magic Carpet
Sometimes I feel like these uploads are like training videos so when I see them in in 2022 I won’t cry the whole time. Your whole experience is so layered, emotional and I really appreciate how you completely disassemble songs you have been playing for a couple of years, and make new paintings. Peace to you gents. Be well.
Fuck yea !! That’s what I do. Projector , hooked through the stereo … garage beers and smoke. RU-vid GOOSE … off we go for a full night of great music. These guys got me hooked on goose crack LOL
Honestly, they are a breed of their own,I'm a loving the band reminds me of incorporating the (and these are my feelings) the sound of the appreciation of The "Grateful Dead ",and Billy Strings into these meticulousally, BEAUTIFULLY, exceptional music.THANK YOU FOR SHARING ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hottest show I’ve seen. I’ve seen dead and co 17 times, melvin a bunch, furthur.....this show contained more epic moments on average compared to the other groups i mentioned. That’s saying more than I could ever say about any new band.
they're tons of fun live, sounds like a lot of goose shows in your future maybe! did you get to the colorado goose shows by any chance or did you get to see the stream in real time?
I think thats too much time with Mayer if you ask me lol Don't get me wrong I love everyone else mentioned and Furthur was a different kind of animal with Phil back there holding it down and JK on lead. I guess I lean to the Phil and friends side of things seeing 100 plus shows. I went to 3 dead and co shows and walked out each time, I've never done that before or since with other bands. Sorry for the long winded response hopefully I'll see you at a Goose show in the future they are killing it your 100% on point there!
This reminds me of seeing phish at the front or nectars, then cap.theatre, then Hartford, then msg.etc. skies the limit for these guys. They are that good.
Goose 🦆🦆 This band has the magic! Absolutely 💯. I'll have to admit, I've been thinking about Goose before Phish when going to put music on. I can't believe I'm saying that
Been like that for a year now. I know. It's ok...We all grow expand and open up to all the possibilities if we listen long enough to what we feel and not what we are supposed to feel. Enjoy Can't wait till Goosemas!!
I feel like I'm cheating on Trey and the boys. Weirdest thing is I'm regularly doing it with a band, I'll admit, I don't even know what all their names are. I'm not giving up on Phish, they are still the current masters of the Magical Moment. It's just exciting to be listening to a different approach and execution of the magic. Exciting to be learning new tunes being used as vehicles to get to the moment. I've been waiting for Umphreys to be that group, but much to my dismay, I was wrong. Arguing with Phish 4.0 fans about the Halloween show, I noticed an abnormal amount of comments about a little band called Goose. Every time I saw those comments, they were met with scoffs, laughing, and some anger. That's definitely the moment I was intrigued. The unappreciative 4.0ers anger was actually fear I have now realized. Goose 🦆🦆 is on the cusp of challenging and eventually taking the throne.
Every damn show I swear there's a moment that propels them into legendary stratosphere territory. For me, in this show, it's the Echo of a Rose. Which I almost skipped because I wasn't high on it for some reason. You've just gotta trust each song, each performance, let it unfold, because they just keep figuring out ways to become legend.
@@Charlie-yd4kl Yeah, that's so tight. Also, I love the description of this version - "*boot scootin' tempo", lol. Also, LOVE when Peter echos "Jungle roooooom!"
15:58 In a world of action I was was playing with distractions Just hoping that the wild would call on me I awoke to a dream, I saw a bees nest in a bonsai tree I fell to my knees and I started to pray that she’d come for me She headed to the open door and I froze Flashed before my eyes in a life i’d never know With an echo of a rose she said take my hand I know a place that we can go Take these old tied up shoes, I won’t be needing them In my new jungle room Oh those ivy eyes, gripping around my spine Tell me who was I before She came and pulled me up to space Looking from far above where I used to wait For an echo of a rose She said take my hand I know a place where we can go
Been waiting for this since they happened! Thank you, deeply appreciate the music, vibe and overall experience. Needed those shows something fierce. Goooooooose!!!
@@nedsoccer11 oh of course, I've covered Steely Dan tunes in bands over the years. The thoughtfulness of the harmonic structure, melodies, and composition of steely dan tunes are in a different universe than Goose, or any other jam band for that matter. I enjoy both tremendously, but there are Apples and Orangutans.
Video was an algorithm suggestion likely from watching Lotus and STS9 stuff. Skimmed through. Got sucked in to the song that closed set 1. Find live album is available on Apple Music. Figure out the song is Rockdale. Geek out at the keys guys face coming out of that jam session. Buy ticket to Red Rocks. You boys got yourself a fan! See you in August!
