My 1st time ever hearing this band and I'm a ct native too. Fucking GOLD! They have a great dynamic and original sound too. It's been too long since a newer "jam band" has peaked my musical interest but these guys have. ❤️☮️🤘👍

Man. The more I hear these guys, I'm all in. Fan of seeing the Dead late 80s... Phish since 1991... Not my first rodeo, and lots of "meh" in between... These guys are channeling the really good stuff!!

Obviously ripping musicians with awesome gear and the music sounds awesome while listening. But I can't remember any melody or hook 10 minutes after turning it off. Where's the Scarlet/Fire? Each song sounds like the one before it. It gets going pretty good at 54:30 but that's about it for me.

I'd check out other shows - Honeybee, Arcadia, Seekers on the Ridge, Dripfield, Rosewood Heart and All I Need are my favorite of their tracks and have great hooks.. probably their best songwriting beyond all these awesome jams@@hammondOT

I'm prone to hyperbole, but the solo in Atlas Dogs 1:28:59 from Slick/Rick/Rich is abso-fuckin-lutely ::beautiful:: !!! Later, the whole band was in a groove, before Slick calls an audible (Flodown) on the talk-back mic 2:09:28 and then,, suddenly, we're gettin down to the Flo-ho-down! All I can say about Peggy-O is that it is powerful. We even get a little taste of reverse and wah wah during a mean, bruising Factory Fiction. Another fierce second set from the boys, who have just been killing it this year!

Enjoy man! Colorado is where my heart will always feel "home". It's changed a bunch tho since I lived there but still awesome and beautiful place non the less. And home to in my opinion the USA best outdoor venue, Red Rocks! 🤘 don't forget your wallet tho! Ya gotta be damn near rich to live anywhere on the front range these days lol 😏👍

I didn't realize it until I went back to listen to the DC shows, but the 3/2/2022 show's first set also featured a Jive (I not II) opener, then Indian River w/ Delta jam and Dr. Darkness. Different transitions, but I'm 100% here for the Dark River combo.

My wife and I were down there in the front in our Bengals gear the week before the Super Bowl. This was a great show with a ton of energy, especially the Indian River>Delta>Dr. Darkness sequence and the Hot Tea that ended set 1. Can't wait for Legend Valley this summer!

See you at Legend Valley! I was at the Pittsburgh show the very next night after this. They've had some incredible runs. So grateful to be catching them right now where they are in their arc. DISCLAIMER: I hate to compare Goose to Phish. However, I am, lol. I started catching Phish in '95 which was right when they started to hit it big, and I regret not being able to see them from '92-'95. To me, that was their absolute best peak ever. Right now reminds me of that time for Goose, and I don't want to miss out again. This is the most amazing moment to be in with this band.

@@brianherr9787 I watched the Pittsburgh live stream, have listened to it several times, and feel like it is a natural companion to the Louisville show, as if Louisville is Side A and Pittsburgh is Side B. They both feature the new material prominently, have similar energy, and pull out the big guns (Hot Tea/Factory fiction and Tumble/Organos) at the end of each set. If this summer is like last summer, Legend Valley should be a blast.

@@jerobinson29 Great comment, great observation. I agree. Have you ever camped at Legend Valley? I'm trying to get a feel for what that's like, but the venue website isn't very helpful, and Reddit seems to have mixed feedback. I'm staying both nights and want to make sure I know what to expect.

@@brianherr9787 I haven't - although I've heard it's a good time. The camping area is immediately adjacent to the back of the lawn, so the camper/tent area is easily accessible from the venue.

I am a long-time (OLD) Phish lover. Phish has been doing their stuff for over 25 years! Like all of us, they are getting old. It's SUPER COOL that GOOSE will carry the torch. In a lot of ways they are 'tighter and better than Phish. Let's hope they will be making great music in 25 years.
