Totally in same boat. I’m 50 years old and not since Phish have I been this obsessed with a band. I look for to many, many years of Goose tearing it up. Their song writing is pretty great on top of their amazing ability to play.
@@joecro1453 difficult to compare musically obvisouly. The feeling I get can be much the same. That said, Goose is super talented and way early in their tenure compared to the other two. I still would not say Goose is overrated.
I said that at my second show then third show then fourth show then fifth show... well, you get the point. The two shows at the end of September in Richmond, VA were smokin' and didn't hit youtube... If you haven't listened to them, do yourself a favor and listen - oh and if you want to have some fun, compare the Dillon Honeybee to the Richmond Honeybee.
Everyday I watch Goose shows. My morning ritual. This show at Dillon is the best of many shows I have watched. After the first short song it was total fire and crazy guitar playing. Plus the rest of Goose jamming along. Coming this fall to my area of western NY. Be the first time seeing them. Can't wait.
I'm really hoping you guys throw some Little Feat into your sets soon! Dixie Chicken, Fat Man in the Bathtub, Time Loves a Hero or Skin it Back! Every time I hear Rockdale it's all I can think of! Love everything you're doing!!!!
These Dillon Shows were something special. Met a lot of great people here and everyone was really soaking it all in. Thank you Goose for all the good memories and amazing music!
There's a good chance you met my son... we were right near a set of steps and everyone who passed by he would say "You goin' to Red Rocks man?" and 99.9% said "yeah man" and then he'd fist bump them and say "see you there man" - he's 13 🤣
Ill take a Dillon show over red rocks any day, these two nights changed my standards forever, the night before with the rain, being front and center was a energy that cant be matched
I’d love also to see the Portland show dropped; it was in a uniquely small venue for this growing band, and the sense of intimacy down there along all the tall buildings was epic. Some rare gems in the setlist, too. Not just cause it was my first show, promise! 🎉
Looking at the RU-vid numbers with only 42.9K followers. It's absolutely the beginning here for you guys. I predict millions more. What a day to be liv'n
How does the 2 drummer thing work? I'm guessing both are playing the main groove and the other is doing fancy things. But I'd like to know if anyone has any insight
I don’t know where us rhythmically challenged white people would be on the dance floor without bands like Goose? Probably stutter stepping like a muscle spasm! Nicely done guys!
