Gooseberry Cooler (HINDI)

On Episode #9 of my series #SaunaKitnaSaunaHain where I show you how to make hydrating beverages for the summer season, I am making this Amla (Gooseberry) Cooler.
You Will Need:
-4 Medium Sized Gooseberries (Deseeded and Chopped)
-1 tbsp Ginger, grated
-Juice of 1/2 a Lemon
-5 Black Peppercorns, whole
-1/2 tsp Black Salt
-1/2 tsp Chaat Masala Powder
-Garnish with a Cucumber Slice
Method:
1) Soak 4 Medium Sized Gooseberries in Hot Water for 10-20 minutes.
2) Add to a blender with some of the soaking water and blend.
3) Pass through a sieve and squeeze out excess juice with a spatula/spoon.
4) Place the strained Gooseberry juice back in the blender and blend with grated ginger, juice of 1/2 a lemon, 5 whole black peppercorns, black salt, chaat masala powder.
5) Pour on ice and garnish with a cucumber slice.
6) Optional: If you would like this beverage to be sweeter, add 1 tbsp of jaggery powder/coconut sugar.
