Non disclosure could be motivated by national security. We wouldn't want to reveal what we've found and are developing. It's probably also motivated by greed. They are trying to figure out how to monetize the research. In either case our tax dollars are being taken for a ride.

The problem is that complete transparency will not yield the results you're expecting because there is no forensic data supporting the existence of alien spacecraft. These UFO sightings increased in military aircraft after radar systems upgrades -- the pilots are literally locking on to birds, balloons and airplanes at distances that confuse their perception. There is clearly a problem with this new system's ability to estimate range to target and there is a clear fundamental issue with training by our pilots -- they're too far disconnected from the engineers who built the systems. So that is one national security concern right there that the intelligence community is going to try to suppress. The problem with a Congressional bill requiring airline pilots to report UFOs is that it would potentially expose current secret stealth technology -- they need to be able to keep certain details secret and if they can't, then lots of soldiers die when certain technology isn't effective.

The fact that you have wasted so much time on this is insane. Can you eat a UFO; can the UFO pay your bills or taxes; can the UFO provide a stable society or economy or protect your right to vote: this inquiry is specifically designed for a proportion of the republican base and to push the government is not honest narrative. The reason why nothing gets done goes back to the American people being so easily distracted and sidelined on STUPIDITY. It does not surprise me the republicans pushed CRT scare across the country and to this day nobody knows what they are talking about, so this is the follow up: this is a total waste of time. The party is now believing in things we cant see or know as fact... its insane.

Anyone who thinks for a second the government will disclose is severely uninformated on the topic.

Credible witness testimony is taking seriously in court as long as it's based on objects and people that are known to exist. If are credible person said I saw this man shoot this man that is plausible within known reality but if a credible person said I saw this man push this man into a time machine and zap him a million years into the past, then he would be laughed out of court unless he could also prove that there are working time machines on earth. Non-human crafts and alien bodies have never been scientifically or legally proven to exist on planet earth.

It doesn’t mean that you have to just believe anything and everything without serious scrutiny. But after awhile, when people consistently report a patterned phenomenon for 75 years, and many of them are of very high credibility, the closed mind accounts for much of the skepticism, which isn’t pure skepticism.

I don't mind theorizing about things we don't know but people like David Grusch ,Gary Nolan and the Jeremy Corbells of the world are not theorizing they are saying we know the non-humans are here and we must go about disclosing this to humanity. This is dangerous in my view and could lead us back to where we were pre-enlightenment where we followed stories rather than hard evidence.
