Hey all, Aussie here. If you check out a comparison of inflation rates you can see that western countries basically track the same as each other. If you search "Australian inflation rate compared to the US" you'll come across a ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) page that graphs Australia, US, New Zealand, UK, EU and Canada. The US is the 2nd lowest atm. So it's all pretty much BS as we all know.
