Love the video makes it look fairly straight forward is it the same process for twist handle version or would it be better to change to the lever version thanks from uk
I just bought my first Goped and I am 14 but it needs some work. Where did you buy your throttle lever? I have a twist throttle and it is not pleasant at all.
hey derek I watch all your videos. im 42 a master auto technician. for the life of me I cant achieve the proper adjustment on the throttle cable. one way the throttle doesn't open enuf and the other way it doesn't close enuf. if I leave it to where it closes and idles properly then I need some way of getting more pull or travel at the lever to open it all the way. any ideas aside from literally making my own lever or bending a billet one? thanks
Not sure if ur having this issue with ur throttle cable... but Ill try to explain it the best way I can. I plan to make a future video on this issue and cover it in depth. I am making a list of videos that people seem to need to would like for me to make and Ill be putting another series of HOW TO: videos together in the next few months. He is what I am guessing is happening to ur cable set up... The sleeve part of ur cable where it connects into your throttle lever is started to pull back and separate from the metal housing itself. and whats happening is when ur adjusting your cable to where you think its good and when u pull the throttle lever its partly pulling the metal cable part into the throttle lever itself. To see this in action you will have to look directly into the throttle lever itself when pulling on the cable. Hope this helps. I will be covering this in my next series of videos. Also 1 other thing be sure to check your cable and make sure it is not binding anywhere possibly causing unwanted stress and not allowing it to function properly.

probably wont be able to anytime soon. But its fairly simple. to do it properly u will need a business card and to remove the top end. by removing the top end it will give u access to the flywheel and the coil to line up the gap between the coil and the flywheel. place the business card between the flywheel on the flywheels magnet and the coil pack. this will get the correct thickness / gap between the flywheel and coil. Next your going to tighten down the 2 bolt on the coil pack to the cover. and the re-assemble. hope that helps until I am able to make a video and explain it a bit more in depth.
