Bought one of these couple months back & already caught six of them varments, thinking bout getting another one being these varments will be coming out in full force in winter time right after first rain hits is generally when they are very active.
@@diymechanic5503 yes they do work great, I generally use the water hose to flush open their hole then placing the hawk @ 45 degree angle catched them always never had to use the probe which only bought the trap without it the water hose trick works every time being it alerts the varment that the hole is open so they get curious to go back that hole & its curiousity is what killed the varment👍
I didn't have luck w this. Gopher kept disarming it w dirt or just dig another tunnel. Finally used a water hose to flood him out then shot it when it surfaced. Took 2min
Not if you set it correctly. You must pull the bottom part up while holding the top spring part in place. If you push down on the top, yes it will bend the prongs, but that is not how it is designed to be used. My prongs are still like new after about 15 successful kills. Also, I said nothing about moles, I just use it for gophers and it works tremendously.
