I would strongly advise against buying a GX90 unless its sole purpose is to be a daily driver. They’re slow, there’s very little aftermarket support available for the motor, servicing the power train can be a pain since the 1G-FE wasn’t available in many countries, and unless you’re solely making it a daily and nothing else, you’ll only wish you bought a JZX, regardless if it’s a GE or GTE. If you’re planning to making a GX a drift car, forget about it, as X90s in general are heavy cars and trying to break traction with only 135 BHP is gonna involve a lot more effort than it’s worth, even on skinny tires. I know JZX prices have been going up in price drastically since the pandemic, but I would advise to just save a little more and buy at least a NA JZX90/91.
@@taimassey2784 no i feel yu i mainly want the 90 for my daily i want a jzx100 chaser for my drift missile , if i ever got anything wether its gx90 or jzx90 i juss want them simple daily and i have a mechanic thts worked on several grandes and 90s he owns one himself
@@ao8271That's what i am going to do. I already bought two JDM cars. One is a Laurel and the other is GX100 Chaser. If anything ever happens in the future and the engine blows on the Chaser i'll throw in a 2jzge with CD009 trans since its cheaper for some reason when the w58 should be cheaper since its weak and all.
Sure you can, but make sure to have it on manual mode or select certain gear (like on Mark II's, Chaser's, Cresta's etc you can select 1st, 2nd and other gears), so AT will stop shifting gears
