While snorkeling Gopro can mount firmly on head or chest straps. GoPro mount hold is much than conventional tripod Mount. 5. While video recording sounds quality also much better on GoPro. 6. You can use GoPro remote if necessary for start and stop functions. 7. For still photos TG7 will be better as per my experience. TG7 we can customize the inbuilt flash and additional LED light also given. (LED very useful for closeups) 7.
