This is a very good edit and I quite like it, however I'd prefer if you could just show videos that were entirely shot with GoPro cameras, as this mostly wasn't, except for the part you showed here.

It felt like this could have gotten done way better. why don't you have a catcher's or batters eye go pro for a full at bat. Show location and pitch selection from a batters pov.

theres a coach who actually gives the signs to the catcher and then the pitcher is suppose to obey the type of pitch but you never know.

Its the pitcher, catcher, pitching coach, and manager all working together through signals. However its the pitcher who has the ultimate and final say.

I like CJ, and I like GoPro... but I prefer the videos that feel more authentic and organic... this felt like a commercial. And horrible timing to release this video the morning after CJ had his worst start ever last night, giving up 4 earned runs and 4 walks before getting pulled in the first inning. Ouch!

The commentary is great because it takes you in the mind of a Major League Baseball pitcher. If there was no commentary you wouldn't get the whole mental aspect and just see a guy throwing a baseball to a batter. Baseball is a very mental sport and without the commentary you wouldn't understand what actually goes on beyond what the eye can see. To most people, you just see a game, but to the people who actually play the sport, you understand that more than half of what makes baseball "baseball" is the whole mentality behind it, ESPECIALLY for a pitcher.

wazy NE well said...! I would only add that is not only for MLB pitchers, this way of thinking / decision making process goes thru the mind of pitchers AND catchers as early as High School level.
