Suicidal stupidity in pursuit of a thrill isn't corageous, it's just reckless. This is no more brave or courageous than street racers running red lights and shit for the thrill. Only reason this is less bad is that he's only gotten himself killed, vs directly endangering any innocent bystanders. "There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots. There are no old, bold pilots." Same holds for any sort of aviation activity. Hope this guy had fun while it lasted, and I very dearly hope he had the decency not to let anyone get close enough to him to be hurt when he inevitably got himself killed.

Brave isn't the word I would use. This is pushing the risks to their limits on purpose, for the rush it gives. It's more akin to a drug addict chasing a fix than somebody doing something brave and courageous.

And of course he paid the ultimate price. Too bad they do not show the death crashes and them ripping their guts out and their heads smashed in. I think that would tend to discourage people from devastating their mothers, fathers, and those who cared for them.
