@@mnfishing4194 The fall itself is 0g. That's why it's called a free fall. The g forces he would have experiences would have been during the flat spin he entered, and it would have only effected his extremities. Head, hands, feet. It would depend on exactly how fast he was spinning and I'm too lazy right now to time the Sun passing the camera and calculate his angular velocity. Regardless, the flat spin was basically pulling his arms/legs/head outward, pooling blood in them. A bit like negative gs in a jet. Hence why he felt like he was going to pass out. He hands stay in the same place because they are being pulled outward by the forces. You'll see when he corrects the spin he is able to pull his arms around and in to reorient himself.

But in general I would have thought that any number of mechanical failures, or anything that stops the oxygen, would be life-threatening. Even a simple failure of the parachute wouldn't end well.
