4:50 the GoPro seems to do better with the light than the Dji even though you said the opposite. Is this just me? I need 4 cameras and I don’t want to mess this up. I will be using them in a low light area. There is studio lighting, but the plan is to keep it as low light as possible.
I'm not an expert, but I believe gopro was showing more pixels in that low light test to compensate for the smaller sensor. But not a huge difference in that test in my opinion
I went back and forth on both of these for a few weeks. I went with the GoPro12 and I’m loving it. I love DJI as well I have their drones so I like them, but I went with the trusted and proven action cam company. The content on my channel isn’t super fancy so I think I chose good for what I’m going to be using it for. Great comparison though enjoyed the video.
I owned a GP12 and an A4 and I took the A4 back after just a few hours. I absolutely hated it. The dewarped mode looks ridiculous and the sides are completey stretched (one of the things you cant see on the side by sides and something all these reviewers conveniently dont mention).. and when it comes to coloring and exposure the GoPro clowns the A4. Dont shoot into the sun with the A4 unless you want everything to look like a black blob. Meanwhile the dynamic range on the GP12 is killer. To me the decision was simple. GP12 > A4.
@@user-ue6cl2gt1c Yeah, I think the autocoloring is way off. I have a DJI drone and I struggle and fight for it to look anywhere near my bright and colorful gopro footage. Which it never does.. the DJI auto coloring is dull and bleak. Plus the exposure is terrible. If you are filming into the sun expect everything to be a black blob. The GP kills it when it comes to dynamic range.. but worst of all was the 'dewarped' mode. Lol. Its anything but dewarped.. should be called super warped. The edges are all stretched out and it looks like crap. You never see it in the side by side comparison vids because the images are cropped. Plus the video options are not accessible on all resolutions, etc. I dont know but I hated the thing. Felt like a gigantic step backwards from the GoPros I have been using.
@@nicksangetta8874 Don't you think the GP colors are very unnatural compared to A4? for example, are they more orange-yellow, especially the color of the skin of the face, or the color of the earth/grass? Do you see with your eyes as GP or as A4?
