This video really got me excited! originally I was going to buy the mavic air 2 sometime in the next few months buy caught a new-in-box Gopro Karma (without camera) on eBay for $290 (but came out to $348.59 for taxes and shipping) because I've already got a Hero 5 that I haven't used as much as I'd like to because it sucks without stabilization. and the fact I could upgrade to the Hero 7 down the road is awesome too! The Karma is supposed to come in tomorrow!
Just picked one of these kits up with a Hero 6 black for $200 bucks. I was having second thoughts, now I cant wait to take this thing out and fly it. I’ve never had a drone before. I use my Hero 5 black all the time.
COOLMOFUZZY it’s a great easy drone to operate. Although much larger than all other drones these days it does great in wind and is great for those just getting into the drone world. If you end up getting one enjoy!
I have a GoPro Hero 7 Black. Would you say that this drone is worth getting in 2020? I know it's a big drone but your getting quality film from the GoPro. Are there any other drones that you've used that also takes a GoPro camera? Thanks David
If you can still find this drone available i would say worth it. Especially if you already have the GoPro. But if you find this for something more than 400 dollars then do not buy it.
Love the video. The only thing I disliked about this video is that you cancel the modes. It’s always good when doing a tutorial to show off the full parts. It’s OK if your video had to be longer I would of kept watching. But please next time every showing some thing for the strong that is a to tutorial please let it play out
Does the watch mode move the camera? I know you said it didn’t move the drone but I was wondering if the camera would adjust/tilt to stay looking at you. My karma is supposed to come in today and I was just curious if I could use this to watch me which I take Batting Practice at a local field.
@@leeking4936 Make sure you update the drone. After the first update, restart both the controller and drone. Power on the controller, connect to your home network, and then check again for an update. Power on the drone and run updates. When it comes to acquiring GPS, get the app UAV forecast. It will tell you satellite counts and if it's safe to fly Also, calibrate the drone before flying. Be sure you aren't near any metal (including concrete which can be reinforced with steal). Do NOT have your mobile phone (or smartwatch) on your person when calibrating and do it at least 6' (2 meters) away from the controller. Stay away from metal, including sand which can have magnetite. You need a clear view of a blue sky for both drone AND controller (controller has GPS also). Once you get, "Ready to Fly" press record and wait 1 minute before taking off to ensure you have good satellite lock. If you have difficulty calibrating the compass (after updating), turn the drone on and keep powered up for a couple minutes and then calibrate accelerometer. Once done, retry the compass.
