Me too. Racing was so exciting to watch. Still is but Stewart gave that edge you never knew if he was gonna hit a crazy quad or crash or just something crazy lol. Dudes a legend regardless of haters. His stats an sponsorship shows
Matthew Netherland He hit his head too many times. He lost his edge in the last couple years before retirement and he knew it. Plus he got suspended during that time too. It was all too much. P.S. to someone who has never experienced a severe head injury, it can be difficult - if not impossible - to understand why James did the things he did in the latter stages of his career. In fact, the decisions he made left thousands of fans justifiably outraged. The implications of severe and/or repetitive head injuries are not completely understood, but common symptoms are. Overwhelming apathy, loss of drive, disassociation, and fatigue are symptoms universally present in all head injuries. Not all of these symptoms are visible to an observer, but a couple of them are - and he was exhibiting them to a significant degree. It could even explain why he suddenly dropped off social media for years.
I guarantee you this, if all forms of racing had camera angles like this during TV coverage, no one would be making "wow, it's so boring they just go in circles" type comments when it comes to racing. It would be awesome to watch an Indycar or Moto GP race from a real "onboard" camera angle!
ryan meduls not really... its just boring, vettel wins every race. Now the new season has begun and last race was exciting thanks to rosberg and hamilton.... first exciting F1 race in like 5 years. Nascar is always exciting... pack racing, i guess its too confusing for you... you dont understand what racing is, all you think is that when you watch something you imagine you are doing it.... thats not how your supposed to watch racing, mate. Your supposed to enjoy the professionals race against eachother, not against the track... jeez, how many times have a champion in F1 or Nascar wrecked themselves when driving alone? probably never, it only happens during intense fight for a position. Its not at all fun watching a RACE where the cream of the world are driving alone around the track with nobody to fight against. F1 was just that last season, disappointing. I race in the same simulator as EmptyBox does, on road courses... in there i race myself instead of watching other people race. Racing oval in there alone is boring because of the track, you are right about that one... but WATCHING a broadcast on tv where they only show the most interesting situations during the race is more exciting than watching F1 where nothing happens during the entire race. Only some random crashes done by the reckless guys, maldonado and friends, make into the highlights and maybe 1-2 overtakes. Go watch Time Attack or other time trials if you enjoy watching single cars drive around the track.
ryan meduls F1 is just to damn confusing. Being they never pass a.k.a. race each other it prohibits my brain from remembering track position. It's hell of a lot easier remembering whats going on when they're constantly racing one another for the lead and swapping position up and down the board. I'm not ripping on it. I just prefer the American style of racing each other as opposed to the European motor sports single file procession style. Hey whatever floats your boat though bro, it just ain't my thang...
Empty Box! Glad to see you comment on the two wheel stuff! I'm into the 4 wheel sim stuff too and follow a lot of your vids. The MX / SX and go-pro stuff......you just can't beat! Rcaing MX for over 30+ yrs and I can't get enough of the helmet cams....incredible!
Gotta love the great sportsmanship at the end. It was a fair and good battle and I love seeing that they understand it was fair and didn't complain about not winning. In all that's racing and racing alone as a pro is fun to them
This is definitely one of the harder tracks. Rutted, massive whoops, huge jumps right out of the corners. I mean even ken and Ryan are struggling with some of the sections. Great race and love seeing the struggleZ excellent track!
Mathis Bech He said in the yoshimura video your front end gets real floatey in the corner its very wet and slippery, and then 30 minutes after he said that it was the main even and he fell their.
After he got off the Kawi machine everything kind of went downhill for James. He's an amazing rider, only second to Carmichael, but I don't think anyone knows what really happened to him. Maybe just age.
He said, hes so scared to loose he scares himself to win, basicly saying he will do anything to win. So he does these crazy lines and has the speed no one has but it comes with a price of him being really inconsistant.
is the power overbearing on a 250 2 stroke, I am coming off a ttr225 and am looking at getting a new bike, my worries or that the 250f won't be enough and the 250 2 stroke will be too much, any suggestions?
I just started watching supercoss again I'm glad it is on either FS1 or FS2 every Saturday night. I thought Stewart was going to win 3 in a row before the crash. I like Roczen though.
This brought me back to when I was a kid racing mini cycles. For sure not at this level, but what a physically demanding sport. The start also brought me back to the World Mini Grand Prix that I was in back then. I came out of the gate tight like in this video, but hit a back tire with my front, went down and then proceeded to get run over by at least 3 other bikes. Ouch! Thankfully they did not go down in this start.
My son and I was there at Atlanta. Stewart was the fastest all night, I told my son he’d crash and he did just that. Also it was the night Alessi took out Broc right below us.
Two different styles of riding Imao Ryan always keep a finger in a clutch and another in the front brake. Ken uses two fingers on the clutch and no one during bumps and wips, keep ing all fingers in the handle! Just an observation, both great riders obviously! Cheers from Italy ^^
