klj2382 no it doesn’t, the tire just expands and eventually tears apart. It doesn’t gain any more speed or handling. Tire ballooning isn’t a good thing and is a perfect way to burn your motor out.
I never said it was good. If you’ve ever had a vehicle and put larger wheels or tires on it then you would know that the speedometer and the actual speed no longer are the same but not by much
klj2382 I agree, going bigger or smaller will change the speed. I’ve put bigger tires on my Nero and the tires seemed to balloon a lot more and diff out. Idk if ballooned tires have traction and effectively change the tire size and speed though.
@@user-ch7kb7pe5r They definitely do. That's why if you change the wheel or tire size on an actual car, the speedo has to be adjusted. The centre of the wheel may be spinning at the same speed, but the outside of a wheel is always turning faster than the centre so if the tires get bigger = more speed.
Technically yes you're right. It's like saying swallowing poison doesn't kill you. It's the after effect on your internal organs that kills you. So simply put, yes speed does kill you and so does poison. If you're going 40km/h in a car and you smash into a tree, you don't die. If you're doing 130km/h and smash into the same tree then say hello to heaven :-)
Fun video, loved seeing the tires get stretched out on the road on the speed runs! the off road was almost too shaky to watch, started getting motion sickness lol
Lol thats a great video. I’m not into RCs but my buddy is he bought his boat out and ran it beside my boat at 75 mph (yes my boat goes that fast) it was pretty impressive.
Aces High FPV has been 18 years between the two hobbies for me but I found the Nitro RC cars way more expensive & time consuming with repairs. Nitro fuel wasn't cheap & they chewed through tires like crazy & a set of tyres was considerably more expensive than a set of props. I imagine Electric RC cars like this would be much less maintenance than a Nitro with clutch & gears
KrissKwadd FPV so you're ok with Jason trashing the dirt jumps at Tangari? Pretty sure the Trail Collective would not be! www.thetrailcollective.com.au/projects/tangari/
Simon McKenna I don't think anyone should be trashing anything, however Simon I fail to see how a small RC Car is doing any trashing to these trails. Pretty sure a BMX bike with the weight of a human would do much more damage. I actually think he should be sticking to driving it on those trails rather than driving it on the roads chasing cars.
