BriaN I feel exactly the same! This video always make me to play with my Ansmann x2C buggy... But sadly there isn't any track in my neighbourhood... :( But at least the good-old skatepark is there to help me... 24/7 BMX Pro-Guyz just watching "Wut the heck is dat?!" :D And for the end, but not least, this video is amazing, perfect for relaxing, I love it! :)

Used to race 1/10 oval over 10 years ago. Watching this makes me miss the sport, but I don’t have the time for it anymore. Makes me want to get a buggy,though. LOL

@@ItsJustFranko Depends on the track, but if they're not a bunch of asshats, then yaeh, you'd be able to run it. You probably wouldn't be very competitive with such an ancient car but you'd be able to enter it. I'm running the same car OP is, an RC10B4.2 RTR, and I have a feeling I'll get to within about 1.5-2.5 seconds of the top guys running midmotor cars. I'm on Proline Pyramid tires all the way around and the traction rolling is real, haha.
Any tips for getting a recalcitrant old B4.2 to behave itself? My local track is on the black carpet and I've got Proline Pyramid tires all the way around on mine. I've tried the wedge style tires on the car in the video but it just results in immense understeer. With the Pyramids I get traction rolling.
I found this a good run I like the beginner buggies like this one but I'm more into TLR and Team Associated B5M's but I'm gonna get a TLR 22 2.0 this summer. how many turns is your motor.
I have an rc just like this running with an nimh battery.. its crazy good and super resilient ( I made some changes to it since it was my first rc car to resist crashing ) i was thinking to switch to lipo for lower weight and also i think I should remove my custom aluminum crash-resistant skeleton.. its done very good I crashed mine more times than I can count , that shit wont break.. the speed it has even with nimh battery and aluminum crash-resistant skeleton is mental. I think I pulled 39 km/h which is insane for the extra weight its got...
