yooo waddup Taylor Carter !! Glad ya like em :D I use a bunch of different modes on my gopro, but I've really been liking the 960p100fps mode for selfie shots! I have protune on, whitebalance to auto. I convert everything with the GoPro Cineform software, otherwise using protune is pointless. 960 is a 4:3 mode which I crop to 16:9 for youtube uploads, and use motion to make the framing perfect. For instagram, I put the 4:3 video directly into a square project over a white background! If you want to shoot photos, try out the 30photo/3sec burst and use the remote to trigger it if you get a #hero3plus . Have fun out there Taylor!

Hey! Cj Heaney I occasionally use a pole for follow cams, but all my selfie stuff is shot with a small handle like TheGoPole grenade grip and I hold it with the camera close to my hand. I film in the 4:3 modes then crop in post production for perfect framing. hopefully that points you in the right direction!

Hey! I'm using a 3+ black edition, I shot this video in 960p100fps (4:3), then cropped to 16:9 in premiere. I use the wide fov, protune enabled, run all my clips through the gopro cineform software, speed ramp in after effects, then edit in premiere. If you don't want to deal with editing as much, you can turn protune off, film in a 16:9 mode like 1080p60 or 720p120, make a 30fps timeline, and use slowmo down to 50% for 60fps footage, or 25% for 120fps footage.
