Wow absolutely brilliant video. I've always wondered how far a helium balloon would Go! The balloons started to pop because they couldn't handle the pressure. Great watch. 10/10. However I would have liked to have seen the Go Pro land in the sea
Toby Roberts Actually, the balloons popped because there was too little atmospheric pressure, allowing the helium inside to expand past the balloons' breaking point.
Carl Tollerton You could try it again with more balloons, but only fill them half way. By doing so the helium has more space to expand making them go way before they pop!
This is incredible!! (I'm watching this in 2018, btw!😊) 10/10!! My favorite part was the freefall through the clouds! So glad your camera landed near someone who returned it to you. Thanks for posting!
Carl Tollerton that’s bad beachside the balloon will go into the sea and the fish will die then the people who eat the fish will choke so that die to maybe just don’t do it
I remember when me and my friends were younger we tied balloons to a Barbie doll and let her go. I always wondered what the view was like for her and where she eventually ended up.
You are amazing!! Thank you for this incredible video, it was so worth it!! OMG & my anxiety went through the roof when it began going into the clouds I thought something was gonna pop out of nowhere for a split sec lol!!
Mark Rice - I would probably say that it was probably at an estimated cruising altitude at around 13 to 18k before one of the balloons had popped as it fell into the sea etc.
Archer Mark well yeah normally if it was larger it would break in half from the force it ain't mine craft it's like if you throw a rock from a bridge there's a huge splash but if you throw the rock in a creek the splash would be smaller but if it's a GoPro it would not do this also it seemed to go slower and I'm assuming it had parachute kind of thing the guy put in it
They could have flown much higher but the balloons were over inflated at the beginning leaving the helium no place to expand so the balloons popped early.
And so it's going to be another good day for you, once I released a balloon that had a paper airplane that we put on, then it flew, flew and then it was never seen again. He flew towards the center and fell in a mangrove here in Guanabara here in Brazil.
This balloon has a gopro camera that shows curved images, the curvature you see is not the curvature of the earth, you need to go higher to see the curvature, but the thing is that this gopro camera make flat earthers to believe eaven more that the eart is flat
And whats crazy is how did the impact of falling not break the camera? I guess a baloon popped and it still had some baloons and it fell back slowly this pretty cool though
try attaching 4 50 foot solar bags till it's a 200 foot monster. Instead of air use helium and fill it so only 1 bag is half full, it'll keep expanding as it goes up. I wanna see how far a helium balloon can really go. the more solar bags you attach the better. try 20 attached with 1 half filled to see if you can get a world record balloon height

Excellent video! I let a helium balloon off in memory of my dad from Ryde in the Isle of Wight, always wondered how far it would of got, the wind took it west 🤔
@@ketameanii because of the height of which the gopro fell it would gain alot of speed extremely fast and if that were to hit someone it would kill them.
Imagine that you're screwing around on your girlfriend and you look out the window to see a GoPro hovering with a helium filled balloon attached to it. 👀
No flat earther here, but from this height, it's probably still the fish lens. I think you see the curvature from higher above. Then again, I could be mistaken. I just thought because the landmass also looks pretty curved there.
is becouse of camera, you cant see the curvature from there, i think you must be at least 20km high, becouse at 10 km i dont see the curvature, the earth is huge
