Admittedly, I was hesitant to get it but pulled the trigger. After using it the past couple days, I absolutely love the Volta.

You can use the Volta without a battery inside the gopro and also charge the Volta with the access rubber seal on the other side from the buttons. You can also have a power bank in your pocket and connect that to the Volta and continue to shoot. Its all good!

Thats cool timewarp into normal mode with the mode buttom you got me hooked on my volta now

I believe you can use the Volta as a remote control for the camera. (mine and the GP11 arrive today!!!!)

Always can rely on you to do a proper robust test. You mentioned you can’t swim with it but what about mounting on the front of a kayak? We need to come back and explore your backyard in Abel Tasman.

Hi Like the look of the valta . Wanting to use it for filming fox's in my garden. Liking the built-in power bank. Would the stand alone ( the remote ) still work with the GoPro or would it clash with the Bluetooth built into the Volta . Many thanks

Have you tried it with the Media Mod? If so, does the lead from the Volta to the USB-C port get in the way of a lead plugged into the microphone jack? I use an Edutige omni-directional microphone with a 90 degree adaptor so it sticks out to the side.

Using Hero 10 with V1.4 and with and without Media Mod, the camera kept crashing and there was high battery drain when Both were off. I then got a notice on the Hero 10 saying "Updating Volta". After that all worked normal.

Hello. I watched your video and you didn't mention any disadvantages with the volta. I have had one for less than two years and I have only used it a few times and the USB-C tip of the Volta broke. The male piece that goes inside the camera came out of the Volta cable. I was looking for a little information and I don't see any solutions, but there are many cases similar to mine on the internet. Do you know who repairs this? I am in the United Kingdom and I would like to fix it since I cannot use the Volta, which has cost me a bit expensive. As I mentioned, I've only used it a few times and I never thought that being an expensive product that looks robust that this would happen to me. Also the customer service is pretty terrible. Thanks for any help on this matter.

How do you turn the red led's off on the camera after using the volta when it's plugged into the camera

Hey are you able to initiate a internally scheduled time-lapse with this and keep it running, until it runs out of battery? Normal power banks require a button bush, does Volta need yo be turned on or can it be started automatically without human intervention, when the camera needs power after exhausting the internal battery? Great video man :)

Those colours on the hero 10 😮 Is that due to the lens mod? Or did you colour correct in post, mine doesn’t look as sharp. First time watching your YT content! ❤️ Would have loved to see a side by side of battery life. Two GoPros shooting the same scene but the one without the Volta draining (clip ending) maybe a night time Timelapse? Could voice over the clip talking about these extra hours the Volta slowed you to capture. Multi camera angles maxes for a good watch. Look forward to seeing more RU-vid as it comes out 🍍🕶

Hey My first time watching your channel and love this video How did you manage to keep the footage linear-like with the max lens mod attached? I love the widest field of view possible but absolutely hate the fisheye look How did you/can I achieve a linear look whilst having the widest field of view possible?
